The Fight against PKK Terrorism

Bro, what's the hold up on Anka? Last time I heard any news, SSM was demanding more indigenous components.. But they are buying more foreign components..

Bro, The news regarding Anka that I heart is the similar with you. The rate of those parts (you know the avarage rate but don't type here bro) causes problems on some phase. TAI was planning to integrate foreign SATCOM so making meetings with foreign contractors but Aselsan is in correct way to develop domestic one for Anka as always.

Please analyze that, the guys must Keep innovative evolving !
All is possible if visions are unlimited and of course MONEY:agree:

Vanguard Defense Industries ShadowHawk

And vanguard Systems comparable light armament ? Could it be feasible for Bayraktar ?

Sorry I have to edit, those wepons are light; but could provice PSYCHOLOGICAL effect

Diyarbakır ve Şemdinli'de güvenlik güçlerinin sürdürdüğü operasyonlarda 24 terörist etkisiz hale getirildi

If the GOVERNORS Close their syht mouths we can DO. WE CAN

@Technogaianist Altay currently is all about a MBT. But in future, probably on mid terms when TAF armored divisions start thinking to retire support vechiles based on MBTs, Leo1 and M-60 types mostly. They will likely ask Otokar to come up with new variants based on Altay chasis.

Brother, If there is one thing that I strongly admire the Otokar, It is the reason of their working characters and non-stop working principles. Once they catched the technology from a side, They will never stop even If government support their projects or not. They are systematically developing everything they envisaged. Now they are planning to reveal their own powerpack+transmission for wheeled vehicles and tracked vehicles. Their turrets, their models which is being used on explosion tests, their safe seats, test centers...etc They are now developing Altay and It is in qualification phase. Before development of Altay did not complete, They started revealing similar tracked vehicles based on Altay. Tulpar, Tulpar-S, Tulpar-AAV...etc Allah knows What they are going to reveal within 2-3 years. They will benefit the experiences of Altay to develop better and better until last straw.

Brother you are right but SSM Counts pennys and thats main Problem for Otokar,
"friends" assisted Otokar to choose the suited heavy laser cutting equipment ;
they are from "Otomotive industry related to Europeans in Bursa";
@cabatli_53
could you be so Kind and answer my question about light armament possibility for Baykars like vanguard.
If it is classified I will accept for sure.

I don't have any idea about vanguard and I have already told the design parameters of Bayraktar TB-2 to meet the planned requirements, which is regulated by SSM. If Army demands to integrate an extra payload, The plus(additional capabilities) and minus(les performance) will be calculated and If the results are logical, Then why not !!!

@golgelerprensi you mean Diktiryof, yes and they use wired traps

If Turkey can not procure those weapons in those numbers, then WTF spend that much money developing them? Are 20 ATAKs going to make a difference? Or 5 ANKAs?

Where do you get your numbers from ? You seem like a knowledgeable member, I'm sure you know the exact number of T-129 and ANKA-S Turkey has allocated funds to buy..

No I'm not talking about reality. I'm talking about a wishlist of weapons to whack those bastards. There shouldn't be an inch of land in the southeast, the syrian or iraqi side that isn't monitored 24/7 by TSK. And have choppers or fighter jets up there in a moment's notice.

@IR-TR You know " Türkün akli ya ---- ya da..... ken gelirmis "!
That AKP will kill our Nation and Republic.
People from field and front, today convinced me that they are not honest.

Who knows. It's a depressing situation. I hope somebody like Ataturk comes along again. One who looks after Turkey's interests, and not those of other powers. That's the job of the president/prime minister of Turkey. Fu-ck everybody else. Want a new middle east USA? Then send in your soldiers again. Nobody else is going to help you out.

The duty for ensuring public security and public order is being carried out by the Turkish National Police, General Command of the Gendarmerie and the Turkish Coast Guard (EGM), under the direct supervision of the Interior Ministry. The police render services to nearly 67 million people in Turkey that has a population of more than 70 million people. This figure equals %97 of the population. The General Command of the Gendarmerie carries out police services in rural areas, where the population is not very dense. The Turkish National Police Organization renders services under the title of General Directorate of Security, which is attached to the Interior Ministry. The central organization is the Directorate General of Security located in Ankara, the capital and the Provincial Directorate of Security in 81 other cities throughout the country. Apart from the big cities, local branch offices and police centers work in provincial centers within the police units rendering services under the public administration heads (governors of provinces or district governors) and, depending on the population density, directorates of district security or district security authorities and police centers render services to the public. The Turkish Government in the course of progress towards accession to the European Union and in response to the obligations of the acquis of the EU and its Member States is actively following a National Programme for the Adoption of the Acquis. Enhancement of administrative and technical capacity are seen as crucial in ensuring the successful transition for Turkish Institutions to the standards, norms and achievements of similar EU Member State administrations

SKL is a state funded independent national laboratory under the Swedish National Police Board and the Ministry of Justice. Our employees are not police officers but specialists in their respective fields. Most employees have an academic degree supplemented with an extensive internal training programme. The SKL competence assurance system CDA (Competence, Development and Authority) ensures that all personnel have the right competence for their tasks. SKL acts as an impartial expert body in investigations of criminal matters on behalf of the Swedish judicial system, mainly police and prosecutors. The forensic areas covered by SKL comprise DNA, drugs, chemicals (including plastics, paint, glass and oil), fibres, shoeprints, tool marks, firearms, explosives, fingerprints, IT forensics, handwriting and documents (bills, passports etc). Evaluation of the results in a forensic context, using Bayesian methods, is a central area of interest. SKL is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025. In addition to casework, SKL conducts research and development and have national and international assignments. SKL also educate and support police (e.g. crime scene investigators) and other members of the legal system, and participate in university courses.

The HYPERION System
The first measures taken at a crime scene due to a detonation of an IED are the initiation of rescue actions. The responsible person is the rescue leader that has to coordinate the rescue team and at the same time fence in and establish a crime scene safety zone. The HYPERION tools will be used for investigating the type and amount of explosive used in the attack.
Stand-off forensic analysis of post-blast crime scenes
In parallel to the rescue actions the HYPERION system can be used. This includes the collection of forensic data and risk assessment of potentially suspected unexploded IEDs at safe distances using stand-off detection of the post-blast scene. The data from the HYPERION will supplement the work of the bomb disposal specialist in establishing a safe crime scene. In combination with the 3D registration of the crime scene, a reverse-event analysis can be performed giving the size of the charge and point of origin for the detonation. The forensic data will be tamper-proof documented and sent to the police instantaneously.

HYPERION concept figure (Click to enlarge the image)
Laboratory forensic sampling for confirmation
After the crime scene area has been secured, the laboratory forensic sampling and analysis can be started. In HYPERION, new and validated sampling protocols will be developed which will take into consideration increased sensitivity through new sampling materials, the stability of samples, optimised packaging procedures and the exclusion of contaminants in the samples used as evidence. The purposes are to further strengthen the forensic evidence obtained from the stand-off analysis and also to support the results obtained from the new forensic technology in order to confirm that the data are reliable.
