No need to go emotional and aggressive. I'm not talking about socio-economic reasons behind pkk terror or how to solve it. I'm talking about basic battle tactics. You can't kill what you can't see. US learned that in vietnam, iraq and afgan, Soviets learned it in afgan and couldn't do anything despite their military might.
P.S. Let's just agree to disagree.
Not aggressive I am. You get used to it in time.
You cant push whole economy, whole military into southeastern region to catch a few flies while whole southeast becomes a bleeding wound, a cancerous tumour.
Look at IS, they push whole community to emigrate elsewhere, while opening Lebensraum for their kinsmen. This is the way how to handle such issues.
With this policy, we are going to lose southeast. Perhaps even more. Military and police pulled white flag. Elhamdüllilah IS arrived, saved us from immediate uprising waiting to happen.

Immediate departure of Armenians from eastern Anatolia allowed Kurds to expand their territory after 1915.
Ask Kurds occasionally they say "my grandmother was Armenian" or "my grandmother was Assyrian". Rape victims. Literally Armenian and Assyrian territory was absorbed by Kurds to proclaim Greater Kurdistan. After Armenian card, westerners use Kurds to do what Armenians didnt do in 1910's.
The problem is, Armenians and Assyrians left a great chunk of empty land behind. But Turks were busy at that time and had not enough populace to repopulate those areas. Therefore Kurds filled the gap.
