The Fight against PKK Terrorism

Bahoz Erdal is most probably dead, he wouldnt have lost a second in proving the opposite by posting video or photos to prevent panic or moral drop in the group.
It's said, the Tel Hamis men were working with Turkish intelligence service. The supposed car of Bahoz Erdal was blown in million pieces, im guessing it should be hard to gather the corps or other evidence for confirmation.

I hope so....same happened with Mihraç Ural...twice a year they called him dead...yet he is still alive.

If he is alive, they will get him out of Syria, to Northern Iraq (Kandil).

Northern Iraq is not safe anymore due to air strikes of TurAF.

All of 'em already fled In Syria and Iran.

You know Bahoz is also the leader of TAK that group which does suicide bombings in Turkey.

We, from day one saying that TAK-PKK-YPG is the same thing yet US denies this and keeps supporting YPG.

There is no way that PKK or YPG to admit Bahoz was operating in the YPG held area. As it would prove their relation with PKK. Will put them under US pressure.

That's why if Bahoz is alive they will immediately get him out of Syria...if he is dead, they will again send his pieces to Northern Iraq, saying that he died in an airstrike and bury there.

Any footage of this alleged attack?

Lol they can't flee to Iran, we are fighting them too these days. PDKI (which also has close ties with Komola and PJAK/PKK) has recently started some fights with our forces. The funny part is, they say we are on political missions in Iran and we will only defend ourselves if Iran attacks. In other words, they say we cross borders to come and hold meetings inside Iran and you shouldn't touch us. Its leader Mustafa Hijri also threatened yesterday that if situation escalates even more, they will go on full offensive mode.

There was a fake one...but removed.

So, there is no footage at the moment.

If you ask me, i doubt that there is such video, as assassination was a kind of covert operation which took place in YPG held area.

Related with the incident, in 18 November 2012 "Reşit Ersi' second man of Bahoz has been killed in a airstrike in Northern Iraq. PKK announced his death 1 year later.

So, if he is really dead we won't hear from him for a long time. If he is not dead, in 1-2 months PKK would air his interview, footage, etc...

I don't care about PR or whatever, I just want the terrorist leaders dead, and their death proven. Preferably by acquiring their head for cremation!

Meh as long as Iraqi Kurdistan is de facto independent and protected by US, Turkey cannot win PKK. They always can regroup in iraqi kurdistan and purchase good quality weapons from other Kurds.

I'm really curious about the method of confirmation...though as long as he is dead that doesn't matters.
Maybe some high placed internal sources from the organization or sources from the area the operation was conducted. In that kind of operations the rumors are spreading fast trough the locals and trough the ladder in the organization from high placed commanders to even the low important fighters and as we know MIT have some presence there (N. Syria) and in N. Iraq. They have their ways but lets not be sure at 100% lets wait for the situation to become more clear. I am sure that if this is confirmed someone from the government will not pass the chance to make some positive propaganda and will make it public. I am waiting such acts from the PM.

Who cares if he is dead or not... this war is getting more and more bloodier with time as we lose more and more people to it and no one sees an end to it. The war against PKK is not effective at all as we lose soldiers and police officers every single day- most people don't even care for it as to them it's probably just another headline in the news...
At the same time PKK supporters up east keep breeding like rabbits, suck all resources of this state while people up west keep paying with their money, labor and lives for this country to survive... Just look at the fertility rates in West and North- 1,4 and compare them to those in the Southeast- between 3 and 4. At the same time Erdo wants to give citizenship to refugees who are breeding even faster even though they live in a foreign country, running away from war and blah, blah, blah... refugees who are being helped from the State much more than the average loyal citizen of this Republic just because a bunch of maniacs want their support in the future elections.

What will happen to this country if things continue like this? Turkey is turning into another Middle Eastern shit hole that will not even be called Turkey in a couple decades if things don't change.

Infamous PKK terrorist leader assassinated

The news of the assassination of a PKK leader comes at a time when the strife within the PKK is deepening

On Saturday when news that a leading PKK terrorist leader was assassinated in northern Syria reached the Turkish presidential plane carrying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan back from the NATO summit in Warsaw there was guarded optimism.

Commenting on the assassination, Erdoğan news told reporters that the inner fighting within the PKK terrorist organization has deepened "and now they cannot hide it."

The assassination of Fehman Hüseyin, code named "Doctor Bahoz Erdal," is a coup as it is the first killing of a notorious PKK leader wanted in Turkey for a string of massacres and bombings that in total killed hundreds of people.

He was the leading PKK persona in northern Syria where the PKK and its Syrian affiliate, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) has been consolidating their stronghold in the region.

The assassination is said to have been carried out by the Tel Hamis Brigades, which has killed 14 PKK militants, including Hüseyin's bodyguards. The Tel Hamis Brigades spokesman, Halid el-Hasekavi, announced that his group had blown up the motorcade carrying the terrorist leader on a road in northern Syria just near the border town of Qamishli at 8:25 p.m. Friday evening. The irony of it all is that Hüseyin was the leader of People's Defense Forces (HPG), the PKK's armed faction, and was also the boss of the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK), a PKK splinter group that has been behind several suicide bombings in Turkey as well as roadside bombs that have killed scores of Turkish security forces just like the roadside bomb that took his life.

The Tel Hamis Brigades have called the PKK an invader of Syria and the leading ally of the regime of Bashar Assad.

All this of course suggest one thing, that nowhere safe any longer for the PKK leadership. PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan is safe because he is now serving a life sentence for treason in the İmralı Island prison. But others like Cemil Bayık, Murat Karayılan and Duran Kalkan are now high on the wanted list and face the wrath of the Turkish people.

The news of the assassination comes at a time when the strife within the PKK is deepening. The PKK is receiving blow after blow in Turkey as security forces intensify their drive against the separatist terrorists in eastern and southeastern Turkey. The PKK's cannabis fields have been destroyed and the harvest has been torched. That is a massive blow to the PKK's finances, which support its terrorist war with drugs sold especially in Europe.

The PKK tried to wage a separatist war in cities and townships and lost 7,000 militants, which has created furor among PKK leaders who seem to be blaming each other for the massive flop.

That is why the PKK has sent the deputies of the Kurdish nationalist Peoples' Democracy Party (HDP) to Europe and Washington to try to rally support to bring pressure on Ankara to stop the security campaign against the PKK in cities and townships.

Besides all this, the PKK has lost its base support among its former sympathizers as people have lost their homes and their well-being because of the secessionist campaign, which proved to be a total failure.

The massage from Hüseyin's assassination is clear: Nowhere in the world is safe for the PKK leadership.

As we see there are some interesting moves from the government in the last month or two. If Bahoz Erdal is dead for me there is some sign that government is taking the fight against terrorism on another level and if this is true and the turkish government made this move I think bad days are waiting these dogs

As far as I know, it doesn't :)

Our fight against PKK terrorism is a matter of "altın vuruş" today. Hopefully, all goes well, fine.
IMO, it's far from that.

You can't end pests without burning down their nests. As long as we don't level Kandil (and all other lesser bases), PKK won't end.
