Socialism was born from populist leader who want to get more vote for his / her next election. it is the same as buying people's vote. Or bribe them to vote you

Yep clever. But also can harm your country development progress. For example is some stupid politicians in my country who promise to raise the regional "Minimum Wages" to very high if he's elected. Cause the factories run from the city and move into other region. Labor rules that side with labor too much that investors from aboard chose to move their investment to other countries, etc.

These kind of policies can bring your country into "Middle Income Trap" like what happen in Brazil. Luckily my central government realized this problem and bring Omnibus Law into the table. And some of regional governors are still sane enough to not raise the regional minimum wages into unrealistic number, just to please labor unions.

That is what has been caused by one of the main mistakes by Karl Marx and other socialists. They mistakenly believe the main relationship between capitalists and proletarians is antagonism. In fact, the main relationship between them is cooperation, one cannot function with the other. When one group of workers alienate their capitalists, their capitalists have no other options than to leave and cooperate with another group of workers. Thus the globalization and leaving the first group of workers high and dry. A part of the modern labor movement can be seen as shooting themselves in the foot.

In China, if you do not have house, you dont get access to decent vaginaa (else only access is whore). 966 is about your access to sex, access to pro-creation, access to family. Not so simple.

It is a direct result of Chinese one child policy, female fetuses were aborted as they were not gonna look after the elderly folks without retirement plans. Guess what, this empowered the ladies as they are fewer in numbers causing them to demand financially secured potential grooms only !

I worked for one of biggest engineering SOE in the past, and barely got 5-6 hours of real work per day, be it electronics, or programming.

I don't see why a massive and established company like AliBaba cannot have multiple teams for sales ( though this I think nowadays is done digitally ) and tech-support. These multiple teams can work in shifts thus reducing burden on the workers.

Maybe China Inc isn't as global as other countries which have offices around the world working across timezones thus avoiding the 996 issue.

Well, even companies which don't have offices around the world can have shifts. Factories for example. And an IT services company I worked in until mid-2014 had shifts.

China just has to be more humane in its treatment of workers. Can't treat them like bees. But this 996 culture is one of the elements that shows that China is not really a Socialist society despite that much-used but vaguely phrased "Socialism with Chinese characteristics".
