They crawl onto air defences at super low altitude, from point blank range.

No SHORAD is effective. The most effective mean so far gainst something like that i think is just a man manning an AA machinegun.

I think a strong air force is needed also to efficiently use them.
Air force will take care of enemy fighter jets while UAVs will take care of moving armored divisions of enemy ground forces.

A good strategy is also required to milk full performance of UAVs.

One thing more, UAV operaters will have to possess huge UAV fleet because chances of UAVs being shot down are always higher.
Ukraine possessed small UAV fleet ( 10-20 maximum) so this fleet against Russia is not enough.

they doin well according to Ukrain forces and are deployed active. They don't show video because the bombardments from the russians.

Ukrainians claim they have destroyed 80 tanks and 516 vehicles. It's all lies.

From their seven Bayraktars,the Russians said they destroyed and shot down four already. If they had footage they would have showed it.
