Egypt deal also Includes Naval Ships as well and its worth $5 Billion while India deal is worth $10 Billion and another aspect is that France can get away with Sharing Technology Clauses from Deals like that at the same time Kick Start their Rafale Export. Isnt it enough for France to gain Bargaining position over India on their Transfer of Technology Related Concern? That is why I use My way or the highway which means if you want Rafale then buy it on our conditions or go to other buyers.

In excahnge to the $10billion deal, India also wanted france to reinvest $100billion in India, openup production line of Rafel, build kavari engine, but do not tell to one, pass nuclear technology and hire 1million Indians.

But anyways, that's how negotiating goes. You ask for the entire butcher shop and are happy when you get the leg of a Goat.

However, the negotiators forgot to adjust their demands as the negotiations got underway. India knows that demanding Dessault take responsibility for HAL's production lines was outrageous.

I dont know the exact Capability of Rafale that Egyptian are getting but since they are opting for an Aircraft which is having hard time in getting International Buyer despite of its Capabilities so definitely they would be getting something better then what US and their other Allies could offer them for such Price.

As for India they only wanted Rafale with along with its Sensitive Tech. deal then I would say India deal was Lucrative for French but still India had a Leverage over them when deal was signed so Indians were Trying get more then what French could have Offered but by this deal Situation might comes to favor French and they are in Better Position to Negotiate India of their Terms and Conditions and if French are able to get Something that Lucrative again then they can Negotiate much strongly over India and now India have also come a long way to SCRAPE the Deal as well.

still nobody is sure whether it's F3 or F3R , its weird cuz in our media said the meteor is coming

F3R is a software standard that will be implemented in France in 2018. For France, it will mean full integration of Meteor as the integration will be part of the package. Doese not mean that an earlier integration can't be done without the rest of the package.
I suppose there will be a F3"I" standard with indian customizations (HMD, Satcom, weapons). That standard considering a delivery schedule for an order in 2015 would probably be based on F3R.

Ils n'attendaient que la signature par l'Egypte... You can be sure that contracts will follow from the middle east, I am not sure about the UAE since it got its own F-16 block 60 with AESA radar and what have you, but... they might want the Rafales to replace their Mirage 2K-9's, then 60 will be the correct number.
Malaysia is also a good prospect for some 16 rafales .
If all these deals go through like the Egyptian one it will make a total of 136 rafale sales , matching the Indian deal. If both deals go through it will be a huge boost to Dassault... and the French econmy.

i really hope france will reveal the egyptian rafale deal with which armaments and missiles , new engine or no ? , Aesa radar and Meteor or no ? , and same for the rafale because what we read is only rumors
