@Azadkashmir ...

You are being silly, more so with the UK flag in your profile.

Let me ask you, on average what percentage of your income goes to Tax in the UK ?

With that money, you support the expense of government + Defense + Social security and the monarchs.
Yet, UK's system is not corruption free neither is every one rich in UK.

Now, look at all the projects going on in Saudi Arabia,

just try thinking who is paying for all that ...

Don't be silly any more, be mature.

I don't think Monarchs and Monarchies are permissible in Islam, Islam is against tyranny. So why would Allah bless a Saudi Monarch? Nonsense.

Ah... So Allah only bless the democratic Iranian regime?
God... I hate sellouts!

The King must die | DAWN.COM

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29: ‘The king should not think he will rule for ever. The king will die or retire in time,’ this political message was boldly conveyed in the miniatures of renowned artist, Asif Ahmed, in his first solo show, in Islamabad.

The exhibit titled “The King Must Die” opened at Tanzara Gallery, Thursday evening. The artist stands prominent amongst the new genre of miniature painters, who have evolved from the traditional miniature to a new dynamic art form, termed as “contemporary miniature”.

As a contemporary image-maker, Asim Ahmed wished to push artistic limits through varied aesthetic thoughts and visual explorations of select socio-political and cultural issues.

“He has built his own individual body of symbolism that addresses itself through a soul searching process,” said one admirer, glancing at one of the paintings.

“He has command of interweaving concept with the image he creates. Symbols such as the emperor’s head, skulls, elephants and insects, all appear as elements to make a profound statement,” commented an art connoisseur, while reviewing one of the exhibits.

Explaining the art works was the curator of the display, Asim Akhtar, who explained the political interpretations behind the crowned house flies, the empty thrones, the maps of Pakistan and the nectar in the lotus.

“The nectar represents the sub-continent or Pakistan and how it appealed to the crowned flies. The empty throne is a comment on the insecurity and vulnerability of the king,” said Akhtar, elaborating on how the house flies represented the foreign invaders.

He explained how the works, heavy on symbolism, sent a message to the monarchs or the king that they eventually died or retired and were replaced by substitutes.

Asim Ahmed’s works focuses on political intrigue, the illusion of power and the game of chance, elements obvious in this recent display.

Ever since his 2004 thesis exhibition ‘Banjara Nama’ in Lahore, Asim Ahmed dedicated himself to miniature painting.

His subjects, however, are distinctly contemporary, and he frequently uses images of politicians and symbolic images such as crows, dice and mousetraps, to make political statements.

Asif Ahmed’s works have been widely exhibited at home and abroad. His works have also been selected and sold at various international auction houses, notably Saffron Art and Sotheby, London.

The display runs till December 8.
