The rw groups have been shouting from day one. Cant the state or central govt or the cricket boards had enough precaution to atleast confirm their accomodations before they(the team) actually flew in ? Massive organizational facepalm moment.

Sad day for the Indian society. You people need to think where are you headed to.

Despite all the Indian hatred and extremism, I can confidently say that this would not have happened if the Indian team were here.

Just sad..

ho ho..save all the doomsday predictions. Just an organizational lapse. Nothing remotely close to what you are even suggesting.

The decision to shift Pakistan team was taken after consulting the Pakistani establishment, they said that they are OK staying there.

What I am saying is that the threat from rw groups was known from day one. So the least the state or central or the cricket boards could have done is confirmed the accomodation of the pakistani players before they actually flew in and also arranged for a contingency plan. This is more of an organizational lapse from the government/cricket board side than any thing else.

This could have an adverse impact on India hosting future ICC events. Whatever the prevailing political & diplomatic situation... it's the responsibility of the host association to make sure that visiting teams are made to feel comfortable. Where is Rajiv Shukla aka Indian Rahman Malik? Normally he is at the forefront of anything & everything.. regardless!

The decision to shift might have come after the intelligence reports, we cannot blame the organizing committee.

With BCCI controlling 70-80% of the money flow ? Not happening.

Well ya.. then again why take chance? Power with humility can go a long way!

Coming back to the thread... if this has happened in any other cricketing nation, teams would have walked out of the tournament. 'cause of the reason you mentioned above... many teams doesn't have a choice when it comes to India. Either put up with it or shush up..

Honestly, India is setting a very bad precedent here.

We in Pakistan and India have common value of hospitality and this goes exactly opposite to that. If everyone else is provided 5 star accommodation, then Pakistan should be provided too.

This is very unfair and against common ethics of human behavior. If they were invited, they should be accommodated, or else should not have been invited.

I would like to thank india for confirming that they are our eternal enemy - it destroys the pigs on our side who think there is a chance of peace with our thin legged neighbors - to the knife and the end.

This is pathetic. I am pretty sure the men's cricket teams whether international or IPL get massive security cover around them, as in a country like India there is always a security risk. It was not impossible to have the team stationed at a 5 star hotel and escorted to the ground with proper security. Although I am sure they must be getting pretty good accommodation even now but this very bad PR. Also shame on those who are actually forcing the authorities to take such a step. It doesn't reflect well on us as a society.

The place where they are staying is a top class facility with swimming pools and good service.
