We have those tank too, usually outside the local RSL club, we gave away all 100 Leopard I to be a museum piece to the local RSL.

Originally we had plan for more Abrams, a whole regiment of 120 tanks were ordered, but it kept trimmed by the federal government and finally we went form a single regiment to a single battalion. Cause the labour government instead used the money on solar scheme and insulation scheme or simply use as hand out.

We have hope on some refurbished M1 Abrams as we are slate to upgrade our armoured capability. But that would be somewhere about 2017 and beyond.
