Check again, 2004 was a full fledged but botched operation in which many of our jawans were martyred or surrendered to talibs. (videos show them in hundreds).
100s soldiers dont surrender in road clearance operation.

This latest ferocious act of terror gives us another glimpse inside terrorists’ sick mentality. The cruelty that they have shown by beheading two soldiers proves that these barbaric animals deserve no mercy. Their long list of crimes continues to grow, and furthermore, they have the audacity to boastfully claim responsibility for their terrorist activities. On the other hand, we must take responsibility for holding these miscreants responsible for their crimes, and stop conspiracy theories from plaguing our minds. We are only putting ourselves at disadvantage by looking the other way. These terrorists have made it a mission to destabilize the region. We must fully support our forces in targeting these terrorists. We must combine our efforts and go after this menace with full force. We must eliminate this threat that continues to haunt the region.

Our most sincere condolences go to the family and friends of these soldiers in this extremely difficult time. We wish to see the culprits caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent, as soon as possible.

im pretty sure afghan terrorists are infiltrating and killing pakistani soldiers because they want them to start fighting talibans again, look first 9 soldiers got killed, then army raided the tribal house, now 2 soldier dead again you can clearly see whats gonna happen, americans are trying hard to start war in pakistan because thats what they always wanted

Condolences about the loss were promptly conveyed after the Salala incident. A formal apology for an accident would not be appropriate.

Markets are the community centres in FATA, that's usually where the Taliban host their beheading ceremonies during which the shops are shut down and it's basically just the Taliban and their buddies, If I were a normal guy, why would I g watch someone getting slaughtered like an animal? That's the only time gunships may open fire on them, artillery is never used.

Hmm, i read somewhere that gunships were a separate incident than the beheadings and occurred later.

What i meant that Co-In forces would have done the job rather than guships firing wild, the news said civilians were killed by them.

If bazaars are like India there are people living there all the time, just commenting on method for attack. Flying in with gunships in civilain areas is just too brash.

The news said one shell killed some children, therefore I assumed artillery .
