Very well said..but as we have discussed earlier,that there is no cure for such stubborn mindsets who keep on yelling,complaining and criticizing everyone on everything!
Have you ever wondered that if situation was under control of our civil regime,and we were not ambit to IMF or US,or if we have proper education system,then Malala would have never born,or using their logic:"She wouldn't be used as a tool" as they claim.

You are becoming delusional , nowhere has she written anything against Pakistan. On the contrary she has said that it is Heaven. No where has she been against islam in general either. She is definitely against "YOUR" version of islam which by the way I am against as well. So is most of the country and for selfish reasons also not in the interest of the West. If you think this is West propaganda for her to survive a shot in the head by your like minded taliban who you also think are being funded by the west who also get bombed by them with drones and then they cry and bomb civilians in Pakistan in revenge and then they accept it and then they say they did not do it. Maybe you should accuse the Taliban of making the Wests propaganda successful by spitting on their beliefs and religion and accepting money to pull the tigger on a 14 year old girl who by gods grace survived and is exposing them by milking the good life that most of us poor folks dream of. It's amazing how people are becoming over here. If something is bad, the logic we're applying is: don't say it's bad, say it's not good or better yet say it's good or if you cannot say nothing!

What she says has credence because she's from the region and despite being questioned, surprisingly, she was shot for her beliefs. Was Oria Maqbool? Was Talat? Was anyone else? Believe me situation changes.

Then, the argument why only her, why not someone else? Well, first of all, she is a PAKISTANI as are all candidates who should be awarded, why is it that Pakistan does nothing for them? How good are we to our heroes? Then, western awards, I would like to tell everyone that everyone who opposes Malala and has a degree from a university in America, Britain, Australia and so on should return it as essentially it is the same thing. Neither should anyone apply for Fulbright and Rhodes scholarships because again that's the same thing: you're awarded for your work. It's a tragedy in Pakistan that there's no recognition for services (our civil society is amongst the least developed as sociologically we evolved our 'Middle Class' during the late Bhutto era).

I have another question, aren't you against the terrorists? Leave the West for a while. Doesn't it bother you that a young girl, whatever she maybe in her beliefs, is not safe in your country? That she would be shot at? Isn't that worth more of a focus than her veracity and credibility?

Maybe , the patriotism of a person should be directed at the enemies of the nation - the religious nut jobs being the main ones at the moment , eager to make Pakistan - another Afghanistan and enthusiastically destroying the country under the name of Islam , instead of indirectly supporting them and not at some girl who has got recognition from the world for standing up to the same extremists involved in terrorism/maiming/harassment of the people of Swat and well Pakistan as a whole too . You do not learn to even remotely criticize the murderers of 64,000 of your countrymen and you have got the nerve to lecture us about that word . Ironic ! . What is your definition of " patriotism " , if I may know ? Unless of course , anyone of you can post excerpt from the book proving what you are saying , it all remains as such . What problem do we now have with a certain Christina Lamb writing the book for her ? Are you aware of the whole process itself too ?
