as his friends were holding him back—he died for the favor his friends did to him.

never hold your friends back in the middle of a scuffle.

provide him a shield and allow him to move around or hold the other person back.

too many friends have their friends killed in that manner.

As always, the selection system will deliver only those results it is designed to achieve, by the rights of the management. Past results in this regard are a virtual guarantee of future results too.

I suggest Chinese and Indian mods, with sweeping powers upon their compatriots. People with a balanced prescriptive and no history of trolling.

I know, mission impossible...

That might be workable in sections where discussions focused solely on domestic Indian or domestic Chinese affairs. Even then you would potentially have trolls going in and harassing/trolling one side over things like 'toilets' or Xinxiang etc, in which case I would be fine with Indian/Chinese mods banning Indian/Chinese/Pakistani users from commenting on those sections for trolling. The objective would be to encourage broader and civil discussions between Indians & Chinese members on domestic issues that would allow greater understanding for non-Indian & non-Chinese audience.

Indian members would also have to accept a ban on any discussions related to J&K in said sections.

Select a mod amoung the persons who do not want to become a mod. Then request them to give the thankless service of moderation. There are a few very sensible people on this forum who are not jumping up and down to become mods. Reach out to them.

Your kind of mod is exactly what we need here. We need someone who will strike terror against any Indian troll who even thinks of posting blasphemous statements against Islam or insulting Pakistanis, our founders, our culture, our language, our armed forces, and our government.

Let's see what the new rules are. I feel there should be more restrictions on the usual suspects trolling in threads and sections primarily. It will be far more effective than outright forum wide temporary bans. Warnings for outright bans only otherwise just quietly restrict from threads and sections.

Tbh the Indian infestation is heck of a lot less than what it used to be. It was horrendous before. They were crawling all over the forum back then.

Right now the sectarian BS is peaking. Hate spewing in so many threads.

Pseudo Liberals are far less as well. Gosh they were at it in full force here a few years back.

PakPositive is what we should all be aiming for. Respect to @Mangus Ortus Novem sir for his energy and motivation.

I hope you might have encountered such situations where your friends or close circle, jokingly nominate you for something without prior notice, forcefully and makes that person’s mood off. For example : When i was in school, once, Our Professor asked for a volunteer who would get some materials for a group project, We all jokingly nominated this one student who was supposed to go to a BBQ, he was appointed by teacher and then he didn’t talk to us for 2 days .

Respect to @Mangus Ortus Novem sir for his energy and motivation.

Now since someone like @masterchief_mirza challenges every troll directly and refutes them one by one (which someone like me doesn't have patience for,) imagine the good he could do for this forum if after revealing said troll's motives, he could be given incentive/power to ban said trolls.

Just a thought. An active mod who challenges trolls is a potent weapon.

A solid argument sir, yet I feel the same applies to your good self as I know you too do not rest until the trolls have been forced to return to their subterranean lairs.

(It makes me wonder though that such talents might become diluted if one has to spend a significant amount of time moderating rather then troll slaying.)

In addition to forwarding myself humbly as others have recommended me, I would extend my support to many of the excellent posters I have seen on these pages. Since mangus and sipra have excluded themselves, I would back @Pan-Islamic-Pakistan @Indus Pakistan @Indos @Itachi @Joe Shearer @beijingwalker

Yes, I'm well aware that some of the folks in the above list are mortal enemies of one another, but I have respect for the way all these guys think and write, and such intelligent and also calmly mannered posters - I have seen them remain much calmer than me when responding to obvious provocation - would make good mods imho.
