NO it hasn't, Indian government or for that matter coast guard have kept the same stance since the beginning.

There was but one official who in attempt to boast about the incident, started lying.
Admitted his mistake, apologised, accepted that he knew nothing about this operation.

Funny thing is when any tom dick and harry calls something bad against Pakistan then you all accept it as certitude but when a high ranking official admits something they already did then he is a liar and a braggy..Double standards,and lying to face with cunning when truth is already obvious is something everyone should learn from you Indians..

He was boasting to his colleagues(phade maar rha tha)..not giving an official brief.. He did not know, he would be filmed and exposed.

Tbh it is not that simple as you pit in just two mere lines had he been a former officer we could have ignored him, but he is a Senior Serving officer with years of service and experience,if he is making such comments then that actually put a question mark on professionalism practiced by your armed forces

Another possibility is, they hauled that damn boat out in the open sea and set ablazed to stage the drama. It is quite possible that the GoI was not involved per se but the Coast Guards tried to make numbers and earn promotions. After all, the brave Coast Guards stopped a potential attack from happening while Lord Obama was setting his blessed feet on the Bharti soil.

Interestingly though, if you watch the video, the sea was relatively calm, and yet the Coast Guards made no attempt to collect the bodies and/or other forensic evidence. They also bragged about some intercepted radio communications between the suspected boat and an 'alleged' Pakistan Navy vessel and now they are quite on that too.
