Thank the lord for that , stroke can be really destructive . this shows that an small artery was involved .

all I really know is it was a "Ischemic" stroke

ischemic stroke means that due to an obstruction in an artery (thrombosis for example) some brain cells didnt get their oxygen well enough .

you should ask his doctor dozens of questions like what caused the obstruction ? (thrombosis or arteriosclerosis) which alters lots of things like diet .

Good luck to you and your father , small stroke patients usually get well very fast .

all you should do is give it some time .
