At least six US soldiers were killed and another two injured as two military helicopters from Joint Base Lewis-McChord crashed Monday night. According to report, military police and medics rushed to the site of the crash in or near Thurston County. The accident reportedly happened about 9:15 p.m. during a training exercise. Sources said there were four dead on the first copter and two dead and two injured on the second helicopter.

TACOMA, Wash. – Four Army aviators were killed after two Army helicopters crashed in an aviation training area at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State, the base confirmed in a press release.
Two other people were injured. The names of the dead and injured have not been released pending notification of their families, per Defense Department policy.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and loved ones of the Soldiers involved in this tragic accident," said Major General Lloyd Miles, acting senior Army commander at JBLM and deputy commanding general of I Corps. "We will conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, and we will do everything in our power to support the families of the brave Soldiers who died this evening."
Authorities have already begun an investigation into the crash. No further details were immediately available.

Their should be an inquiry. We should wait for the result of the inquiry for the official verdict. We cant jump to any conclusions about who is to blame??

Aww. Very Sad Indeed! There were cops and ambulance all over. I didn't know that's where the were going. In fact, I didn't even know about this whole incidence until i checked here and then saw that the local news also reported it.
