The bloggers not only committed blasphemy but also committed treason by rooting for terrorist bla and brf they promoted violence on their pages and shared brf activitySo all those who wanted the bloggers silenced helped in creating the present environment to silence political dissent too.
Isn't that ironic?
But, totally predictable. That is what happens when freedom of speech is not equal for everyone, whether we agree with them or not.

If someone roots for isis in US and promotes their activities what will authorities do to him?So where is the due process and trial in a court of law to prove such allegations? If mere opinions are sufficient to shut them down, then the same can be used to shut down political dissent or criticisms of the Army. We cannot pick and choose what speech we will allow or not based on personal opinions, but only on the basis of law that must be the same for all citizens.

I guess fbi first contacts the person,s lawyer before arrestDue process as specified by the law will be implemented without fear or favor.

Yes i am on an agenda i want my country free of scourge of poverty, illiteracy, corruption, terrorism and extremism@Zibago cyber crime cell is'nt doing that great a job when ppl like u bully, bash, lie to justify your point of view. I think evreyone agrees you are not authority on truth but on a specific agenda.
Its still too little by the govt.. When facebook staff was deactivating accounts last july to block content from Kashmir post-Wani death, I don't recall facebook sending team or india requesting one. Arab Spring protests were also posted on facebook same with violent protests in Turkey and Malaysia. I was in Malaysia when Bersih protest were going on , govt. had to block social media cos of the protesters fueling incitement thru rumors about people arrested or incarcerated which were'nt true. In response, Bersih protesters burnt up property (arson) and beat up police officers tried to harm shops around them. Facebook is in itself a huge problem it does not allow anti-jewish, anti-indian content but lets islam-haters dominate. Using excuses like freedom of expression and other BS. Govt. first responsibility is to protect its its people from this propaganda war .
@Zibago This member or any other who has issue with PAkistan's society, mosques, culture and don't even squeak a word against elitism, corruption, rich PAkistanis, feudals murdering Pakistanis, they should leave.
PAkistani people should understand foreign living Pakistanis have their own interests and agendas. They are bound to protect their own **** in countries where they have a stake. American, canadian citizens of Pakistani backgroundcan, are being used against Pakistani state religion and culture. Tarek FAtah, Goraya and many more are ready to join them. If any PAkistani does'nt agree with the system or way of life and treis to impose his own thinking he should be blocked. Remove dual nationality facility, Singapore, Malaysia, even our Pak Army knows the disaster these foreigners trying to do.
