SHENYANG J-11D/E RENAMED TO "J-16" (With concept images)

This is the first time CCTV has released the design of the J-11D and J-11E, both of which are currently under testing. The J-11D/E (or J-16) made its maiden flight in March 2010.

I've always liked the american way less types different upgrades.

Although I'm not betting on it but lips are sealed in China on projects.
If it really comes out in 2013/14 China must get rid of old SU-27 airframes, further development of certain projects be stopped, concentrate on key projects.

This is an era of great development to China's aviation industry, so not surprising, even so many projects, in fact, only a few major projects, J10B J16 (J11 modified) j15 (and subsequent modified) JXX (two).
