Featured SH15 Artillery in Pakistan

. . . . .
SH 2 is being used by Nigeria. Emission bottom concave bombs maximum range of 18 kilometers, the bottom row of launching missile a maximum range of 22 kilometers, the bottom row of rocket launching extended-range missile has a maximum range of up to 27 kilometers. Thats very less as compared to SH 15

Like someone said, delay the storms.

Just to make you guys feel better, our SH2 is coming with a greater range than we expect, exact I'll not specify. Knock knock.....

Frankly, I do not think helicopter transportable guns are a thing for us, especially for the northern sectors (for which they are usually talked about/discussed). If you look at that terrain and keep in mind the range of these guns you will see that more often than not the helicopter carrying those guns will come so close to LoC that it will be in range of even short range ground based SAM battery. Even in range of MANPADs in some situations (hilly terrain, peak advantage, infiltration etc). Besides we do not have enough helicopters to make a significant difference. So in my opinion while these helicopter transportable light weight howitzers look and sound very fancy these are not very practical in Pakistan-India situation, not suitable for either one of us!

@PanzerKiel
Lets do it this way.
Can India deploy M-777 in any sector of Kashmir? OR
Will India deploy M-777 in any sector of Kashmir?

After it is all about to achieve capability that foes posses.

I would always ask
Should india deploy M777 in Kashmir? If yes, why?

My focus of concern is, just because it is basically light, doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to Kashmir. It's other characteristics make it equally potent for plains and deserts as well.

Can? yes
Will? They have intention to deploy them in Arunchal

If they have deployed it in Arunachal, then it's there against a specific threat which is not Pakistan.

Its just doesn't seem right that you deploy those guns in Arunachal during peace so that you can deploy them in an entirely new area against a new threat during war. They'll stay there.

Afterall, Pakistan Army is not the only threat they are facing.

????????

They now fire a lesser range? Natural wear and tear on the ammunition? Gunners older? Please say what it is.
Neither Bofors has now a lesser range nor natural wear and tear nor the ammunition nor the gunners older. Bofors has been out ranged by latest Chinese Artillery now held by Pak army. Do you think enemy will keep sitting idle for 21 years ?

But what is the range of the Chinese artillery now held by the Pakistan Army? Is it that it has to be more as Pakistan has to have the more powerful weapons on principle, or is there a figure available?

[And before you jump on me with hob-nailed boots, please check if the reported range of 50 kms is a regular projectile or a specialised one].
