Its ensuring that NSA level talks goes on and also ensuring india's stand that no talks will separatists will be allowed.

India will never share a table with the separatists... & they don't influence India's position in any way while talking to Pakistan. If Pakistan wants to give importance to insignificants & keep betting on losing horses, why should we have a problem.

And no one gives two hoot about these separatist leaders, they live in there small territory of influnce which reducing very fast. And if media doesnt give highlight to the news related to separatist, even we would not discuss it.

Precisely my point. But we just managed to give two hoot by putting them under house arrest. This will hijack the whole debate. India was on a position of advantage till now while Pakistan was desperately trying to wriggle out of these talks due to recent developments. Today's incident may have just dampened that spirit.

What positional advantage did we have ? ....... we are setting the agenda for the talks. Not pakistan.

These are our terms and pakistan will talk to us on those terms. That is just we have managed to do.
