I think the parks thing depends on where you live. I live in an area around Bury which is semi rural and there is a large beautiful country park called Heaton Park, it is very busy most days.

Some Parts of Manchester have anti social behaviour issues, so parents avoid parks. Areas such as Wythenshawe.

Also Manchester is its own county now, the county of Greater Manchester.

Heaton Park is the biggest park in Manchester and yes, you got me there. That's usually filled with people. I think it's just Blackley; it's alright as an area. I haven't seen any other park with more than 2/3 families except Heaton Park.

Social behavior issues are a major problem for the whole of UK. It's sad to see that these days children think it's fun to roam around in the streets, with bikes, swearing at every second person they see... You know why that is, it's because UK is a welfare state; these people have never tried to get an education because they know the council will take care of them... I recently came of out High School and my school wasn't the best; there were a lot of problems with behavior. Thank God for a decent college.

I recently went back to London and I meat up with my friend at Richmond Park, sat there for about two hours. It was relaxing to see people of all ages having a good time, playing tennis, cricket and football.
