Saudis Join UAE in Push to Buy F-35s

Arab fighting spirits are only good at times , mostly rich arab nations have other hot acitvities to join , do you want me to put a video here ?lol
There basses are not defended , that was the fear that made our genral raheel , to be the head of the 41 nation armmed group ?
Also , in KSA s case they need more ground troops to defend thier lands then a expensive dead horse like F35
Correction and update; Fighting spirit is shown when there is war.. I can show you hot and funny videos of anyone who says has a high fighting spirit.. Now you are being funny saying that General Raheel was called for to protect GCC bases:lol:.. KSA ha more that 500 K troops if we count the national guard and more if we count other branches..That is quite enough to defend itself..because it has also quality weapons and quality officers and training..It is a big and close ally of Pakistan.. the more powerful it gets, the more powerful Pakistan gets..

last statement is wrong...
And no...Ksa is far from being competent... They have very very good equipment...that's for sur and no one can say otherwise...but it's soldiers and co...are not competent enough...

I'm pretty sure that if we see a UAE vs KSA someday... I will blindly bet on UAE... even with it's limited equipment...

I'd bet on KSA for pure numbers and carpet bombing capability.

KSAs superiorty has been seen naked durring its invasion of yeman ?
With so modern fighter jets , & day night bombardment , what results it has brought on.the ground ???
Nothin ????
Instead hottis were shotin missiles on very important installations in riyadh ?
With all the dam moderen weaponry KSA stands no where against much weaker opponents in YEMAN , so thats what happens when these isnt any sprit available in any of the forces ?
Sure there are some , portion of KSA forces which can be seen on a standard military level round the world , but whole of its forces never been to any wars ?
Having no real war experience keeps KSA always lookin for defence pacts with USA , OR EVEN RUSSIA ?
Even their command system isnt up to the mark because of its deep tribal divides , which was the very reason they brought a decorated experienced , fighting genral like raheel sharif , if you think that force will do CTOPS , just leme know where you think they ill get that chance ?
In IRAQ
In KUWAIT
In YEMAN
In SIRYA
Im sure its just a coverup , which is just used to train KSA forces at a level , from which it really can be able to fight any agression from IRAN & its regional allies like hizbullha , or hottis , or even peoples in power in IRAQ , which makes KSA & its royals valunarble ?
So for killing honney bees you need technique more then a M16?
It looks nice , you tried your best , to cook up some eligible arguments but still you lack military experience, which I have !

I'd bet on KSA for pure numbers and carpet bombing capability.
With so many of its most modern fighter jets like

Attack JETS

Eurofighter Typhoon
Panavia Tornado
F-15 Eagle
they still arent been able to clear hottis yet in YEMAN ?
Im sure even if they been given B52 bombers , they wont be , able to clean the hottis in yeman then whats the point in gettin F35s just to fed USA military complex , so they can keep thier influential position not more then that ???

There is a lot of truth in what you are saying. However, I would like to emphasise that the Saudis, apart from a few incursions in the South by Special Forces, have not yet invaded Yemen. The only regular troops in Yemen are the Yemeni Army fighting the brunt, the Saudi SOF to the South and the UAE forces to the East. They have provided extensive air support, but they refuse to kick out Houthis in the North right on their border. Instead, they prefer artillery.
I think that it has something to do with domestic politics that do not allow the army to attack their Southern brothers due to a possible domestic outcry. But I am sure that if they were tasked with fully invading Yemen, they could do so, even with a long and arduous war. Yemen is a lot like Afghanistan in its topography and demographics, making an invasion a move only a fool would take.

Thats what their most moderen airforce was doing in yeman , without any shame ???

Bombed into famine: how Saudi air campaign targets Yemen’s food supplies

Sources of food are a lifeline in the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, but are being targeted by the Saudi-led coalition

At 11.30pm, 10 nautical miles off Yemen’s western Red Sea coast, seven fishermen were near the end of the four hours it had taken to haul their nets bulging with the day’s catch into their fibreglass boat. Suddenly, away from the illumination of the vessel’s large spotlight, one of the men spotted a black silhouette coming towards them.

Moments later a helicopter began circling overhead. The fishermen were well within the 30 nautical mile boundary they had been warned not to cross by leaflets airdropped on land by the Saudi-led coalition. But, without warning, gunfire erupted from the helicopter.

Osam Mouafa grabbed his friend, Abdullah, dragging him into a corner, curling himself into a protective ball as bullets flew through the boat. Shot in both knees, with a third bullet having grazed his thigh, Osam began to feel water rising around him. “The boat became like a sieve,” he said, sitting next to the wooden stick he now needs to walk.

By the time the onslaught stopped, the captain – a father of eight – and Abdullah were dead. Another crew member, Hamdi, was deafened and paralysed down one side after being hit in the head by shrapnel. All bleeding heavily, the five survivors frantically began bailing water out of the sinking boat.

Yemeni air defense forces shot down a Saudi Typhoon fighter and warned Riyadh of 'more surprises' if it continues repeated aggression in the country.

Yemeni armed forces claimed to have shot down a Typhoon Royal Air Force (RAF) warplane in Saudi Arabia with the support of the Yemeni popular movement, Ansar Allah, often called the Houthis, in Nahm in the east of Sana'a (the capital of Yemen).

"We have the capacity to develop the Yemeni Air Defense and we are willing to [give] more surprises as long as the aggression continues," the Yemeni military chief, General Ibrahim al-Shami, said on Friday.

The general has also confirmed that Yemeni forces are changing their air strategy to counter Riyadh, which is why he has advised Saudi Arabia and its allies to "take these advances" seriously.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine, versatile, and highly maneuverable fighter, designed and built by the company Eurofighter GmbH. The RAF purchased about 72 Typhoon units to supplement its air superiority in Yemen.

The downing of the jet came after Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, stated that Saudi intervention in Yemen, which began in March 2015, will continue until Saudi Arabia suppresses Ansar Allah, which Saudi Arabia claims is funded by Iran and threatens the Gulf region.

"We will continue until we are sure that there will not be a new Hezbollah (Islamic Resistance Movement of Lebanon), because Yemen is more dangerous than Lebanon," said the crown prince who also serves as defense minister, recalling Yemen's proximity to the strait of Bab el-Mandeb, which makes the country a very strategic area.

Earlier this month, Yemeni forces intercepted a Saudi operated unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The U.S.-made General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper was hovering over Yemeni airspace when it was shot down by a surface-to-air missile. A Saudi F-15 fighter jet was also shot down over Sana’a in June.
Just imagine ,what if this airforce been test against israelis ?'''?????

Yeman is nothing , if uou check aghanistan , but once american airforce went in , it cleared the grounds from talibans in days not even weeks ,thats the difference a professional force can only make ?
No sorry , KSA has to stop using its wealth to buy favours from usa , instead they should learn to live peacefully with.its poor niebghers ?

The military leaders are not meritocratically chosen, so there is a heightened possibility that they really are fools. Also, I really don't like MBS and what he's doing. He seems kinda crazy, putting the Lebanese PM hostage and blockading and starving Yemen when it does not yield.
Also, I would not count on the fighter pilots. Most of them are princes and mercenaries. not many meritocratically selected pilots over the region nowadays. Those guys could get the last place in selection trials and still get in.
About starving Yemen out, that was unwarranted and completely uncalled for.

All your points have been debunked previously.. on other threads.. But saying your opinion and basing your arguments on propaganda do not show any military experience you are claiming.. how do you know about me.. or are you talking about yourself?
You want KSA to bomb all Yemen to ashes? And then you come up with unrealistic points about General Raheel, just to boost your own ego..
Just forget it..you have shown enough lack of knowledge and too many presumptions..

Now just stay on topic.. if it is not too painful for you..

military experience , comes out from the opinions you make from a situation , it's not every tom , dick & Harry like you who read , a few pices of news here & there & comes to argue with out knowing any facts on the ground , I have my military mates from PA , doin training the KSA troops jobs right now in KSA ?
I get frist hand reports from them on the ground situation in KSA & it's will to get YEMEN under its arms ?
KSA leadership thinks that it has the potential to become the hub for the anti- royal elements with in KSA .
why you the hell you think KSA went to bomb YEMAN on the frist Hand ?
why they requested PAK ARMY troops for advances in Yemen ?
who was the army chief , then when that request was made ?
what was his reply or advises to them ; kids like you often think that they got all the knowledge just reading planted news , from the discusting paid media groups ?
no its not what you think , aims & objectives of deep states won't be in reach by those media thugs , & never will be ?
geNral Raheels appointment as a head of 41 nation armed group ; has multiple dimensions , frist is he was a very capable master , trainer commander , who trained his troops against the shadowed enemy called TTP in pakistan ?
there are other secret dimensions which can't be disclosed here , because those are state strategic secrets ?
KSA thought that they I'll destroy the hottest military power by using a highly modern airforce , destroying basses all over yeman, but they been wtong on it ?
that's why they begain bringing s decorated command structure in KSA to let handle a growing military situation in KSA .
F35 S HAS NO VALUE I KSA S CASE , it's jusr balancing act to let russia & usa conected to KSA in the end .

Anyway, better stay on topic..
KSA and the UAE will get the F-35 standard version like all the others. minus NATO components..
I think it will be good for both Nations to have it..rather than not..

.
I know it wouldn't be for sale, not even to the Israelis.

But hypothetically speaking, I wonder if the Saudis would pay just about any price to get their hands on a few squadrons of F-22s if the opportunity presented itself.
