Besides oil, lesser population is also a factor.

Saudia is 2.3 times bigger than Pakistan in terms of land area while their population is only 33 million out of which 19 millions are locals. Imagine their population at 2.3 times higher than Pakistan at 500 million and then see even oil won't work for them or atleast not in a way it is working right now. lol

آج پاکستان آئے چھٹا سال ہے۔ پہلے نواز شریف کو قطری اور سعودی تلوے چاٹتے دیکھا تو خیال آیا کہ غریب قوم کے کرپٹ لیڈر اپنے ملک میں بھی سر نہیں اٹھانے دیں گے۔ انکے اقامے ہمیں شرمندہ و رسوا ہی رکھیں گے۔ خدا خدا کر کے عمران خان آیا کہ جس سے امید تھی کہ پاکستانیوں کا سر اونچا ہو گا۔ ہوا بھی۔ الیکشن جیتنے پر سعودیہ سے پاکستانی دوستوں نے ہی اطلاع دی کہ سعودی اب کم از کم سیاست میں پاکستانیوں کا انتخاب قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتے ہیں۔ پھر عمران کی آنیاں جانیاں بھی کمال کی تھیں۔ شہزادہ سلمان نے پاکستان کا سفیر بن کے ہزاروں قیدی چھوڑ دیے اور عمران سعودیہ ائیرلائن کا طیارہ لے کر امریکا وغیرہ پھرنے لگا تو مجھے لگا کہ برسوں کی غلامی دوستی میں بدل گئی ہے۔ اب شلوار قمیص والے کو سعودیہ میں ہر سعودی ڈرائیور خاص سمجھنے کی بجائے دوست سمجھے گا۔
