What's new

Saudi Arabian youth and the importance of exercise and active participation

Actually this is the point. Why write arabic when there is Google translate?

Teaching is boring as batshit and thats all there is to it

?
You wrote in Arabic with the help of Google Translate. Why the use of Arabic? Google Translate is full of mistakes and you cannot rely on it to construct sentences in Arabic, LOL. I would warn you from doing it otherwise you can risk being laughed at.

For you maybe. Without teachers most would not learn what they have to. Whatever you study then teachers are needed.

All Saudis I have taught were from central and Northern Saudi Arabia, very nice people, so I haven't dealt with people from Hjaz yet. Inshallah if I had time and after I settle down there, I will meet you guys for a drink, on me:cheers::D

اهلا بك في اي وقت يا اخي

I know that most Jordanian Arabs have ancestral ties to Hejaz given that both regions are neighbors and after all the Royal family of Jordan are from Hijaz originally.;)

Yes, it's boring as hell, I tried to avoid it. At first I considered the army, but nobody recommended it, then tried companies but didn't like it. Now I'll stick to teaching till I complete my study. After my experience there is no fun job.

:astagh:

How is teacher a boring job? It is one of the more meaningful jobs in the world. To teach young and old. Very disrespectful. Did you use Google Translate for those two words?

It's boring actually

If you say so. I just regard teaching as a very important and respectful concept if done in the right way. What is boring for person x or y depends on him solely.

Remember that our Prophet Muhammad (saws) and all the Prophets before him were also teachers albeit not of the character you see today.

Anyway we await your entrance.:coffee: Make sure to visit Hijaz also.

Come to Hijaz the home region of me, Mosab and Arabian Legend. We can do a tour from Madinah, Makkah, Tai'f, Jeddah, Al Baha, the mountains, beautiful and tropical Red Sea coast, volcanic areas, steppes, all kind of different deserts in the interior, forest/green/tropical areas such as Al-Baha etc. Also for hajj.

But as the Nadji you are originally then you have probably already picked sides.

LOL

Anyway fun aside 7abibi then you are very welcome to visit KSA. Hope you will have a nice experience.;)

I am a chemical engineering student and when I get my degree in chemical engineering and later petroleum engineering which I plan to combine with some degree in business/economy then I also plan to share my knowledge with other people if I can do all this. What is the point otherwise? Knowledge is to be shared. We should all seek knowledge. This is a very important concept in Islam and even life.

I am glad that you like your job. It is important to enjoy doing what you like because then you do it better if you are not enjoying it.

I had both good and bad teachers but more good ones and the good ones I will remember because they taught me a lot of good things that I still remember today. I think there is no shame in being a teacher at all rather the opposite.

What would we people do that study at universities without the teachers that teach us?

My grandfather was/is also a very good teacher for me. Teacher of life and Islam. Our parents and elders are also our teachers. We teach our children etc. We are all teachers in some way or another.

True, it's very important, but it seems that our government doesn't regard it as such, all new rules and regulations have been being issued are against the teacher, depriving him from his rights and putting more pressure on him, he is simply an over worked under paid creature :D I have been teaching grown ups at an international educational institution, so it was better for me than most teachers. I understand their bad conditions because I worked once at schools two years ago, it was horrible. The state must improve their conditions as #1 priority.

This is very bad. In the Arab world it is not looked at fashionably. I do not understand this. I have great respect for teachers. I am not familiar with the conditions of teachers in Jordan.

Anyway Blackeagle, you are a wise member and with a little bit of guidance that even wise people need (we all need guidance) to get you will surely contribute good to yourself, others and your society. I hope that Jordan will soon enter GCC so you can enjoy many of the similar benefits.

Some of our laws in the Arab world are not good. I hope it changes. Anyway I need to go. Breaking my fast in a few minutes (15 minutes).;) Here fasting is nearly 19 hours!

Today it was 31 degrees Celsius and it was VERY humid!

اود أن أقول أنني معجب بأسلوبك الراقي في الحوار هنا وحس الفكاهة

What about my manners, don't you admire them?

The situation of teachers are not that far off, in Jordan the new governmental teacher gets about 400 JOD (2100 SAR) while in Saudi Arabia for example 4000 SAR, and considering the standards of living, they are not far off. All are lower-middle class people.

Sorry, I exaggerated slightly. The fasting is "only" approximately 17 hours. It was nearly 19 hours during the first week. When I went back home to Makkah earlier this week then, despite the weather (36-40 degrees Celsius) it was easier to fast. Today was exceptionally bad. It was because the humidity. I think it was 95% or so today. We also just had lightening earlier.

But it is good that it is hard. It teaches self discipline which I sometimes can lack.:coffee:

Good luck again, Blackeagle. Update us on the status so we can help you in any way possible.

I lose my tempers easily when it's hard, I hope Allah forgives me
