Saudi Arabia discovers 9,000 year-old civilization

Archeologists have found any evidence or footprint of monoteist religions such as Islam in there?

Did Islam or any religion that exists today anywhere on the planet exist 10.000-9.000 years ago? Can you broaden my horizon on this front? Also what has Islam to do with an ancient civilization and archaeology related to that civilization? The history of Islam is incredibly well-documented already. More than any other major religion in fact.

I have never been able to comprehend this fetish of old primitive "civilizations", some people just seem to have eternal love of the past and they are also the most useless people in the world.

So you cannot comprehend why people are interested in history, in particular of their own land, people, geography etc.?

The Al-Magar civilization, like any civilization this ancient, is primitive when looking at it with today's glasses. 10.000-9.000 years ago it was one of the most advanced in the world.

100 years ago most of the world was incredibly primitive compared to today's standards. This is a very moronic logic.

So I get that you don't care about Islamic history either as that 1400 + year old heritage is "primitive" or your own history. Interesting philosophy but each to his own. I find your post rather strange. If you don't have any interest in ancient history, history as a whole and archaeology why even comment and make such sweeping nonsense statements of "fetish", "useless" and "primitive"? Nobody obsesses about anything, we get access to new knowledge about a long-gone civilization that helps us better understand the world back then and then we move on. It's history for a reason.

The Egyptian civilisation is still intriguing to most advanced science brains today..
Do you just have fetishes of new advanced world.. not seeing that humans today are still animalistic as ever..

This is just one out of many well-recorded and well-established ancient civilizations (some of the oldest in the world in fact) in what is modern-day KSA let alone the remaining regions of Arabia or the Arab world.

Many Arab-obsessed trolls (moderators know who they are) have made it their mission on PDF to create some fake alternative universe where the cradle of civilization (Arab world) has no history, but that will only get you ridiculed among academic circles and around people with a bare minimum of historical knowledge. Hatred and obsession can go a long way online, it seems, but only so long in the real world, I am afraid.
I am a Pakistani and i have no reason to Hate you or Arabs in General. But as a keen student of history i am obliged to learn.
Can People from Arabian Peninsula or Arab world in General claim the Cradle of Civilization to be Arab?.
Similar to how we in Pakistan cannot claim the Ancient Indus Valley Civilization people to be our ancestors.
I understand ancient Mesopotamia and probably one of the oldest known Civilization is based on Modern day Arab lands around Iraq. Their may be more in KSA.
But modern Arabs cannot be traced back to those times. Arabs originated from Nomad Tribes of Arabian Peninsula. And at that time, the Arab world outside Arabian peninsula was not Arab.
Their were Persians in Iraq region. Their were Greeko-Romans and other locals, in Palestine, North Africa and Syrian Region. their were indigenous Kingdoms in Central and Eastern Africa
Other then Nomadic Tribes and Settlers of Hijaz and Yemen, I believe Ghassanids and Lakhmids were the only Arabs on the frontiers of Sassanids and Romans.
The Arabization of Africa, Mesopotamia, Levant, Persia etc came after Islamic conquests and Arabic Cultural Revolution that followed after Prophet Muhammad SAW and then afterwards under Powerful Arab Juggernauts of Ummayad and Abbasid Dynasties. Similar to Turkification of Anatolia and Central Asia
Correct me if i am wrong. Can Pakistanis claim Indus valley civilization as their forefathers? Can Turks Claim Ancestry to Pre Islamic Anatolian Civilizations, can Brazilians claim to be successors of Mayans?

On topic. 9000 Years old civilization is significant find. Another civilization from neolithic period

To make this reply short not to derail this thread.

The world's oldest and most advanced ancient civilizations, cultures, cities (the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world are located in the Arab world for a reason) are native to the Arab world and we modern-day Arabs are descendants of the people who inhabited and founded those civilizations and cultures as confirmed by every genetic study conducted. We similarly share a shared geography, a shared ancient Semitic heritage and a shared cultural and linguistic continuation.

By all means if any people alive can claim those ancient civilizations and cultures native to OUR lands, it is modern-day Arabs, its descendants. Nobody else. Similarly people of Pakistan are the only ones that can and should lay claim to the IVC.

Secondly what you are writing is simply not true. The ancient Arabs were a sedentary civilization that created numerous World UNESCO heritage sites in what is today Yemen, Oman, KSA, Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Egypt (Sinai), Palestine, Israel, Jordan etc. to name a few countries. Sites such as Petra, Mada'in Saleh, Palmyra, Hatra, Bosra , 1 of the 7 wonders of the ancient world (The Great Dam of Marib) and the list goes on. Arabs were widespread all over Arabia (not all of it), all over Sham (not all of it), Mesopotamia (not all of it), Egypt (not all of it) millennia before the birth of Prophet Muhammad (saws).

Arabs have an almost 3000 year old recorded history in Syria (853 BC). Arabs were first recorded in what is modern-day Northern Syria (853 BC) during a battle between the Assyrian Empire (itself a Semitic empire) and various allied Semitic city states and entities.

Assyrian and Babylonian Royal Inscriptions and North Arabian inscriptions from 9th to 6th century BCE, mention the king of Qedar as king of the Arabs and King of the Ishmaelites.[90][91][92][93] Of the names of the sons of Ishmael the names "Nabat, Kedar, Abdeel, Dumah, Massa, and Teman" were mentioned in the Assyrian Royal Inscriptions as tribes of the Ishmaelites. Jesur was mentioned in Greek inscriptions in the 1st century BCE.[94]

The Ghassanids ruled Syria for 4 centuries prior to the Rashidun. The Nabateans ruled half of Syria over 2000 years ago. Philip the Arab, an Arab emperor, ruled the Roman empire 400 years before the Rashidun.

Queen Zenobia, an Arab queen, ruled the ancient city of Palmyra. Half of Sham and Mesopotamia is geographically and historically a part of ancient Arabia.

Anyway all modern-day Arabs are all racially the same people, we share the same geography (you can walk from Oman to Morocco and never leave a single Arab country), we share the same pre-Islamic Semitic past consisting of closely related peoples, civilizations, cultures (since recorded history began) and we all adopted an Arab identity Not to mention that we were/are all Semitic and racially the same people.

All people adopted an identity at one point in time, what matters here is that all Arabs are native to the Arab world and of the same racial stock and mostly Semitic peoples. Arabia was Arabized as well that does not mean that previous history was erased or that foreign people suddenly from the other side of the world suddenly replaced the locals or fell down from the sky.

Not only the Egyptian civilization, brother. Several well-known civilization native to the Arab world are a mystery to this day for numerous archeologists and scholars. Not to mention recently discovered civilizations and cultures. Even though the history of the Arab world is the oldest recorded there is, due to those very same findings, we only know a tiny percentage of the region's and the world's overall history. Arabia for instance is a largely unexplored region in that regard and due to its sheer size, key importance in ancient human migration and being the oldest inhabited region of the world outside of Eastern Africa, is key to understanding early human migrations.

Anyway to return to the topic of the thread.

The oldest rock art in the region (world) depicting the predecessor of the Arabian horse has also been found in those areas of KSA. So another of the many archeological clues.

So by this extension. You mean Hazrat Issa AS, Hazrat Ibrahim AS, Hazrat Yousaf AS and all other Prophets of Allah from this region are Arabs?
Means the original Semites from levant were all Arabs?
Hebrews and Arabs are same people only from different timeline? (Ofcourse not european jews the original jews of Holy land)

The Prophets that you have mentioned, who were native to and lived in what is today the Arab Near East, were Semitic people who spoke the predominant Semitic languages of their time many millennia ago. Many of them speaking Aramaic, a closely related language to Arabic, that was the lingua franca in much of Arabia, Sham, Mesopotamia and basically the entire Near East.

Semitic peoples = Arabs is a wrong terminology as there were numerous Semitic speaking peoples (all closely related genetically, racially, geography, linguistically, culturally) in those ancient times. Many predating the notion of Arabs. For instance Arabia was inhabited by non-Arab (as in people not speaking Arabic) for much of recorded history and at the time of Prophet Muhammad (saws) much of Arabia did not speak Arabic.

How shall I make it easier to understand? Aramaic was replaced by Arabic as the lingua franca of the local Semites in the Arab world, Arabs (1 Semitic group out of many native to the Arab world), ended up dominating (the spread of Islam accelerated this) and absorbing closely related Semitic peoples who previously mostly spoke Aramaic (not only of course) in the geography, Arabia included, prior to this process. Hence the notion of "pure Arabs" (or any other ethnicity for that matter) never existing.

Arabs and Israelites/ancient Jews/Hebrews/modern-day Arab/Mizrahi Jews (who form 2/3 of all Israeli Jews today) are both Semitic people and both trace a part of their ancestry to Prophet Ibrahim (as) and both share a linguistic, ancestral, geographical, religious (Islam and Judaism are both Abrahamic religions that have quite a lot in common) connection.

Have in mind that not only Semites lived in Arabia or the Arab world. Modern-day Arabs are a mosaic of peoples who are native to the land and who have ancestral ties to all the previous civilizations and cultures that lived/existed in the Arab world. That is not including events that occurred in the Islamic era (past 1400 years) in terms of interactions with the outside world and human migrations to and from the Arab world.

If you want to dwell into the history of the Arab world, there are tons of material to read out there. You can probably ask some historians, professors etc. out there who will be able to help you out.
