Saudi Arabia and Turkey rolling back on rhetoric to send troops into Syria

Spent over 10 billion $ already by hostingmillions of refugees, beside dozens of terrorist groups just next to border which is a threat for national security so now we should sit and wait if everything will be ok ?
Well, Pak made Taliban ....and still suffering. Pak still suffering from Afghan refuge....

The title of the article is misleading, it doesnt represent the content at all. The article clearly suggest that both sides are waiting how the peacetalks will turn out. If that doesnt work out, expect a full fledged invasion of Saudi-Turkish forces.

I am still amazed as to how you managed to become a Think Tank.

The Turkish economy is doing fine. Growth is expected to be well above average. That problem will solely be for Saudi-Arabia.

Did you really just suggest that we should follow Israel as a regional leader? I hope thats sarcasme.
May be Turkey is not ready to accept this reality, but arabs already accept that. Its just matter of time.

From the Article:

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir also said late Sunday that the decision whether to have a ground component on the ground is up to the US-led coalition.

“The timing is not up to us,” he said.

Now that is something.

Basically the Master told them, STFU.

So now, Saudis are waiting for US to give them the order to go in. So much so for any self respect, or sovereignty. The strings are now evident for everyone to see.

The problem is, the Master does not appear in a mood for a show down there.

As far as I remember even the notion of sending troops were originally American made by 2 American senators senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham ....

McCain, chairman of the Senate armed services committee, recently proposed intervention in Syria by a European and Arab ground force backed by 10,000 US military advisers and trainers.

On Sunday, he and Graham told reporters during a visit to Baghdad that US personnel could provide logistical and intelligence support to a proposed 100,000-strong force from Sunni Arab countries like Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Graham said special forces would also be included.
The Guardian
And it's what American secretary of State had to say in London 2 weeks ago:

Two Syrian aid workers said they approached Kerry at a donor conference drinks reception and told him that he had not done enough to protect Syrian civilians. He then said they should blame the opposition.

"He said that basically, it was the opposition that didn’t want to negotiate and didn’t want a ceasefire, and they walked away,” the second of the aid workers told MEE in a separate conversation and also on the basis of anonymity.

“‘What do you want me to do? Go to war with Russia? Is that what you want?’” the aid worker said Kerry told her.

Turks are fine n cool---- erdogan is a curse:hitwall:
Erdogan is scapegoat . He is engulf in multiple dire situations, after touching Syria. If he knows, Kurds will be biggest gainer in this whole scenario, he wouldn't touch Syria. Plus, if he enter Syria then he has to confront Kurds and EU and US won't tolerate any type of Kurds confrontation. So, basically Turkey in hard and rock situation ..
But, Saudi are pushing hard, and recently Turk PM came Pakistan for back support. Because, only Pakistan army who is battle hardened army , who been fighting terrorism since last many years. Plus, Syria and Fata terrain is kinda similar, but soldiers are different and battle tactics are totally different. Fight in mountain and fight in concrete rubble is totally different.

What reality?
Closer defense and trade ties.

Trust me, the average Turks has no intention of ever wanting to run the sectarian mess that is the Middle-East. Even if we lead the M.E region, these issues wont be solved anytime soon. This region needs enlightenment and scientific developments, something i doubt we could provide in our current state.

Lala, Pak was suffering a great deal more in the 1970's when Bhutto was in charge.

It was split in half and needed diplomatic support to rescue its soldiers and who gave Pakistan that support??

It was broke with a tarnished reputation after the massacres in East Pakistan, who provided it with money and supported it despite its reputation?

Pakistan willingly accepted the devil's wager with the USA because it was the only way it could obtain nukes and avoid a second Indian invasion.

Turks are fine n cool---- erdogan is a curse:hitwall:

Given the massive increase in the income of the average Turk ever since Erdogan and Davotuglu won their first election, may Allah inflict such a curse on Pakistan! Go look up the figures for the economy and prepare to be stunned.

On this point you're right. Erdogan wanted a 'United States of the Middle-East' where there would be free trade between member states. Iran wants regimes beholden to Iran. Erdogan wants trade, and Iran wants hegemony.
