Do you think that the gun won't be hidden and/or protected by layers of air defense systems? The so-called "missile threat" might exist in an ideal simulation but in real life you can be sure that there'll be countermeasures and appropriate ways to deal with this threat, not to mention that a 110-foot gun can easily shoot a projectile into suborbital altitudes which will outrange most regional missiles.

1. The gun can be hidden by simply using camouflage or hardened bunkers and it would still usable.

2. Other options would include putting the gun in a huge array of air defense equipment. No large military asset go to war unprotected these days.

3. Brahmos and Shaurya and Prahar can be intercepted by all sorts of air defense systems. That's what modern missiles are for and that's why the US are developing countermeasures to them.

4. There is no technical limitation to a weapon's ability to fire suborbital rounds, especially one that size.

We were not even given any detailed description on its capabilities, and yet you have started to claim that it can be countered by the so-called "Brahmos", "Shaurya", and "Prahar" missiles; did your own education not teach you to not jump to conclusions without evidence or support?

Crappy Indian ballistic missiles like Shaurya or Prahaar aren't hitting anything. What is the CEP of these ballistic missiles? Brahmos is a Russian missile carried by a Russian Su-30MKI. Let me know when you're able to build the Brahmos and Su-30MKI on your own without Russian help. You can start bragging then.

China, on the other hand, has the entire country of India covered by highly accurate BeiDou-2 guided cruise missiles armed with our choice of conventional or nuclear warheads. And we have your country covered from the land, sea, and air.

How much does that air defense cost? Are you going to deploy S300 or S400 to protect a gun? Suppose if you do (Looking to your history of 4 pest campaign), even though we have the capability to destroy that with oor long range MBRL strike and many more.

Recently chinese media took a jibe and Expose J15 and J 31 terming them dude weapons of no use. Do you want me to post the link? Indian defense planner never take into account dude chinese weapons. e.g when they plan to counter chinese airforce, they discuss how to counter Su 30 MKK and not J 10. They are not worth paying attention even.
