For those of you who wonder why such a small stick is used to keep an elephant restrained and why the elephant doesn't try to break free while it can easily break it or pull it off:

They start tying very young elephants while they are still weak to a similar size stick. The little elephant tries to break free but it can't. So it kind of accepts that the stick is stronger than it and it carries this belief with it even after it becomes a full size elephant. The elephant is a prisoner of his own thoughts in another word.

Now, comments from some of the members here who either laugh at Iranians for their ambition or foolishness (whatever they think it is) reminds me of this elephant. US used to be extremely strong relative to Iran. But Iran has grown. And fortunately, we Iranians don't behave like this elephant and/or most of the countries in this region. We know we have become stronger and we will try to brake this stick over and over again until we succeed.

So instead of acting like a mindless elephant, at least cheer for Iran's attempts.
