you are just assuming nothing else,They picked up their ECM signals analyze aboard that what kind of ECM systems are S-400 using, its a classified systems, and last F-22/F-35 RWR/EW is truly passive (listening) system, and doesn't emits any electromagnetic waves unlike PESA which emits radio waves so range is no problems for F-22/F-22 RWR/EW package whether its on heavy ECM mode or without it @undertakerwwefan

No there were not CM in Vietnam war American Tomahawk/AGM-86 ALCM as well as Soviet KH-55 were in the development stages only way to take out SAMs was ARM (ANTI RADIATION MISSILES) @undertakerwwefan

Russian navy & air force are now very obsolete; its current warships and aircrafts are still 1970s and 1980s soviet era design and russia don't have money to replace them all; it has already decommissioned most and partially upgraded only small scale of the remaining capable fleet; since 1990s russia has newly commissioned only few small combatants (frigates and corvettes) and SSNs meanwhile, it seems that russia hopes to continute to receive Indian money in order to offset the serious lack of its defence budget, while India now wants to buy weapons not only from russia but from US; currently russia strongly threatens that it would sell its weapons to pakistan if India no longer buy weapons from russia eventually russia has very small size of its economy and therefore it couldn't possibly have enough defence budget to compete against US or China; on the other hand, US and China have enormously invested their defence industry every year (at least hundred billions of dollars); as long as russian economy stays as today, russian defence industay and techniques keep falling much behind and have no future NO choice !!!
