No Russia will sell arms to bharat mata and make its usual profit, However like in the past since the days of the Soviet Union to Russian federation always backed india no matter what Russia stood with india and alway kept hostility with Pakistan as per india's appeasement. Now They are improving their relationship with Pakistan and have changed their policies instead of being hostile to one nation and friends with another its now 'From Russia With Love' for all!

Russian Deputy Chief met CJCSC a day before and then the Visit with briefing. These meetings, visits and briefings are need of hour not just for both countries but for the region as well.

RAWALPINDI: A Russian military delegation headed by Deputy Chief of General Staff ,Colonel General Israkov Sergi Yuryevich, visited Miran Shah, North Wazirastan Agency on Thursday, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to a statement issued by the ISPR, the delegation was briefed about Pakistan Army's efforts to clear tribal areas from terrorists of all hue and colours. The delegation was also briefed about the Pak- Afg border management and socio-economic development projects in the area for enduring stability.

The Russian delegation acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s achievements in fight against terrorism and efforts to bring stability in the region, the statement noted.

The ISPR said Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt, commander Peshawar Corps accompanied the Delegation.

See this map Afghanistan is connected to Turkmenistan ,Uzbekistan and Tajikistan . Now this visit is not for some fun photo but to assure that Pakistan has done well and Russian can rely on capabilities of Pakistan to deal and safe guard some of its worries also Pakistan role is pivotal to its own interest also Taliban were/are/will be real game changer as all these states are very much prone to Islamic Extremism and capability wise not even close to safe guard there own boundaries . So Russian are engaging with every stake holder as well as game changer in this region .

ITs funny how well 9/11 was used (I beg your pardon) Now Afghanistan is and always being nest of insurgencies to counter China/Russia . Im not writing Pakistan and Iran as they are very small players in all this and of course US needs Pak to counter India after China .Iran and Israel are two side of same coins by giving aid to one they can sell weapons worth 20 X

The Pentagon has not provided detailed numbers on its small arms exports to either war zones, so Action on Armed Violence (AOAV) spent nearly a year scouring Defense Department contracts and found that they totaled over $40 billion for guns and ammunition.

“We are not talking aircraft carriers here; $40 billion is a huge amount of issued contracts just for guns, attachments and ammo, even over 14 years of warfare,” Iain Overton, AOAV’s director of investigations, said.

Another issue that no one has awareness of other than Russia is a factor much bigger than ISIS or any other proxy threat that can be raised in afghanistan. It is a big hidden issue not raised on mainstream media is Opium. Russia is becoming a huge user of illegal afghan heroin that is being grown at alarming rate just like in the 19th century india was used to grow opium to kill of imperial China.

afghanistan is perfectly placed to destabilize Pakistan, Iran, China & Russia. Pakistan has been the worst affected with US umbrella given to india raising proxy to destabilize Pakistan but other nations know that sooner or later its gonna bring issues to their door step so it's better to act on it.

Taliban afghan not TTP are now being taken seriously by China, Iran and Russia for a reason as its paramount that the US and all its tentacles are removed from afghanistan.
