Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

if you worry about that , you let enemy attack occupy those low lands then destroy the dam and wash them and inflict more damage and casualties to them than all the period of war.
its as simple as that , you don't destroy it to prevent enemy coming there , you destroy it to destroy your enemy who are stationed there
That is way too unpredictable to assume that the enemy will charge and then you blow the dam. Past history has shown that blowing dams is to prevent enemy from getting to the other side.

Sorry, it was Moscow June 2023 :rofl: :rofl:

That was quick!

Russia sent all of their tanks to Ukraine as we saw in their Victory Parade that they only used an old T-34 for the parade. Not much resistance against that.
Then more than likely the same thing will happen, may even be worse....

I'm not sure why all the NATO fanboys are jumping up and down with glee over a potential civil war in Russia and its collapse. Why replace crazy Putin with someone who is even more fucked up in the head?! Prigozhin has actually been criticising Putin and the Russian military for going soft on Ukraine!! And are people forgetting all those nukes?! For decades and even to this day people are worried about Pakistan collapsing and its nukes getting into the hands of non-state actors. What if that were to happen in Russia? What if nukes got into the hands of people outside of the normal command and control? If Prigozhin or some other nutcase got hold of nukes, they could use them against Ukraine, and Putin and the Russian military would have an excuse and plausible deniability. NATO and the west couldn't then retaliate against the Russians either conventionally or with nukes.

Even though Russian nuclear weapons are formally subordinated to theatre commands, they are outside of regular chain of command. So, Russian strategic nuclear forces in the Centre, South, and the Far East don't receive commands from separate theatre HQs.

It would be funny if Russian Army did the same thing in Ukraine when they try to fight Wagner in Russia

I mean, like this

Wagners convoys seem to be lightyears ahead of regular military's organisation. They don't drive tanks on the roads for thousands of kilometres, and they seem to be well provisioned (they don't stop for too long for refuelling,) they definitely have working SHORAD, and EW with them.

Moscow major Sobjanin has activated „counter terror measures“, whatever that means. he now gets the authorization and apparently calling in the mechanized divisions into Moscow.

From where? They emptied all of the coffers, 1st tank army, which guards Moscow, been sent to Ukraine. Only armour of Russian militarised police is seen.

This is by the way also the reason why we don't see much of Russian BTRs on the front, while Russia have gazillions of them on the paper. Most of BTRs went to police, and political paramilitaries (obviously driving a wheeled vehicles is much more practical in urban terrain)

@LeGenD @Deino

Depending on how things go, we may need to start a new thread with the title "Russian Civil War - News and Developments", or should I just start one now?
Yes please, this thread went for way too long
