Russia coming closer to bankruptcy. There is no way out.

Russia’s gov deficits run 16 billion USD per month or 192 billion USD per year if the trend of sinking oil and gas prices continue.

Russia’s central reserves total 10 billion USD, 300 billion chinese yuan, 550 tons gold would hardly cover one year deficit. There is a big gap. Putin will have the choice either stopping the war next year or printing endless rubbles. Venezuela style bankruptcy.

My guess is the war intensity won't be kept at such high level as neither side can afford it in the long term, lots of westerners are already sick and tired of supporting the corrupt regime in Kiev. Donald Trump has a good chance of winning 2024 as long as he is firmly anti-war, you know how he likes Russia. He will pull the plug on Ukraine in a heartbeat like he did with TPP and Kiev will fall into Russian hands within a week.

I honestly think russia wont even reconsider its options without 500,000 soldiers killed. And only if they lose that many without major battlefied gains. Then they might reassess.

If UAF intel is not lying, RU has a 3m loss hard line. Which is like half of their draft age men, but only 15% of their working age men.

Correction; Ukraine stopped the Russian Airforce with their own Soviet AA, not western provided. Ukraine had the largest AA pool/stockpile in Europe before the war , by a massive margin

It will be very important for Ukraine to not only restore it's SAM arsenal to pre-war levels, but surpass it, along with upgrades.

Russians, seeing complete impotence of their airforce, will be certainly thinking how to counter UA air defences next time.

They will likely refit every aircraft they have with jamming pods in the futur.

Out of downed aircraft, only single digits were ECM pod equipped.

What I see is that Russias feared winter offensive will likely culminate after they take Bakhmut. If they actually manage to take it finally after almost a year (“second world power “ jumping with happiness after taking a small city after a year…how far they have fallen)

Lets make a prediction.
Sloviansk and kramatorsk will not fall this year. (If at all really) i will withdraw from this forum if they do.

Now for you..how many weeks does russia need to take kramatosk/sloviansk now that ukraine army has been “completely destroyed “ at little Bakhmut?
Make a prediction, and maybe also promise to shut your mouth once you (again…mr. pockets…) are proven completely wrong.
