Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

Just do a quick math

Russia coming closer to bankruptcy. There is no way out.

Russia’s gov deficits run 16 billion USD per month or 192 billion USD per year if the trend of sinking oil and gas prices continue.

Russia’s central reserves total 10 billion USD, 300 billion chinese yuan, 550 tons gold would hardly cover one year deficit. There is a big gap. Putin will have the choice either stopping the war next year or printing endless rubbles. Venezuela style bankruptcy.

I'm really not sure about this. Most economies dont rely on foreign trade. Russia has shown it can handle the sanctions better than anyone had anticipated.

Russia is not advancing very well and taking massive losses, but they have basically destroyed Ukraine and its infrastructure and it will take 20 years to rebuild.

Russia is untouched and the 150,000 + soldiers it has lost, is really not that big of a deal. Russians just dont care much about each other. Especially about the minorities in russia. In fact they are probably happy that 10 or 15,000 Chechens died. They probably hate them more than they hate ukranians. And besides it's a country of 140 million. Its huge.

The massive number of tanks and other equipment is also not a huge deal for russia. They will eventually rebuild it all.

I honestly think russia wont even reconsider its options without 500,000 soldiers killed. And only if they lose that many without major battlefied gains. Then they might reassess.

What might happen before that happens is Ukraine taking back large areas. I cant predict what will happen but I know the western weapons will keep flowing. And just massive destruction.

F16 will make Moscow rethink? so easy?
Sure the Russians can wage war forever they apparently have nothing else useful to do in their lives. Other people plan which country to make holiday in summer Russians make plan how to burn down x,y city elsewhere.
Sure some people just fight wars

Endless Ruble it is viet!
Fiat is the biggest con ever perpetrated on humanity.
When the scale itself is broken... how can you weigh anything against it? (Gold in dollars is x amount now, was and, will be entirely different)... Gold is a constant and dollar/ruble a bottomless pit. Power of a currency is only as much as a centralized authority roping all economic activity under it's thumb.
And perhaps beyond the scope(capacity) of most posters here.

See this is the problem with you Americans
Your eyes only want to see what you want
careless of facts on the ground realities to truth that hurts in your hearts
You don't just go to your local library & dig up some old WWII book and say yeah Russians didn't do Jack
You gotta see the big picture of WWII from Russian angle & German angle & then the allies angle
And you will understand what I just said.
Noone claims that the Soviets didn’t do jack.
Zjukov and Stalin claimed that the Soviet Union would have lost without the support of the Western Allies, and they are right.
The trolls that claims that the Soviet Union broke the back of Germany single handedly are wrong.
The German Angle was that they considered the fight against the West more important, and spent more money on that than on fighting the Soviet Union, and das Heer had as many soldiers facing the West as facing the East in 1944.
As the Russians then and now were incompetent, Germany soent more and costlier hightech on fighting the West.

After bakhmut there three more major cities..with current pace it will be 12-18 months and conflict will achieve it's objectives unless Russia uses beralus again for second front .that may end the game sooner
