Majority rules bro and the majority of people in most nations think their behavior is indecent. That being said even so they are free to do what they want just don't expose the rest of us to it.

I am glad the Europeans are taking a strong stand on this issue.

Gays are free to be gay but idk why they think they should be able to flaunt what many believe to be indecent behavior in public.

Unfortunately many european countries are doomed on this issue with parliaments giving laws regarding gays without consulting the nation.
Our politicians are smart on this issue(a very,very rare case for them),they will write in the Constitution and so,when the usual EU commisioners will come dictating that we should allow gay marriage they will say :"We have to change the Constitution and the only legal way to do that is to hold a referendum"...and bam!..rejected!,well played this time.

I am glad your politicians have taken up the issue sternly. It seems Eastern Europe is more sternly opposed to allowing their youth to be exposed to such behavior while Western Europe is still tripping over itself to accomodate others.

democracy is not exactly tyranny of majority. A responsible govt should give equal opportunity to all citizen irrespective of gender, race and sexual orientation. Saying majority want blacks as slave does not make it right.

Equal opportunity yes but this is not about denying them rights to anything based on their sexual orientation. Also yes majority rules until the minority can influence enough people to switch to their view on issues.

You're wrong,people are just more nationalistic and religious in eastern Europe it has nothing to do with HDI,the upper classes are the ones towing this anti gay policy.As to animal rights thousands took to the streets and stopped the mayor of Bucharest from killing stray dogs two years ago,enviromentalists currently block a major canadian -american firm from extracting gold from the biggest reserve in Europe at Rosia Montana because we fear for the environment.We care about those things,we don't care about gay abusive rights.

We can get richer than Croesus and still won't let the gays run amok,we've seen what hippie liberalism has done to western Europe,it made them soft,we're not going to go down the gutter as they did.Lesson learned.Look at Greece pre crisis,they had a GDP(nominal) per capita of 26.000,pretty rich and still oposed homosexuality.
