RJAF selling 15 Cobras - option for PAA?

So ?
Pakistan used Israeli spares for the F-16 and computers for UAVs. This forum probably runs on code or some input from either Israelis or Indians.

Dont ever use VOip like Viper, whatsapp, fb and any of those services again. Not to mention, your country of residence’s cyber security system also has Israeli input.

There were weapons built in Quraish run forges or bought from the Jews of Medina in Badr but here were have the next level unnecessary haram-certification ongoing.
Your point is? If you are suggesting Pakistan will overtly use Israeli gear, thats a joke. Good luck running that past every mullah on the street corner chanting death to Israel.

. . .
Why hasnt Pakistan recognised Israel yet?

It's not in our national interest. There are loads of topics on the forum discussing it. Our PM recently did an interview with the Journalist Imran Khan where he talked about it. Its on YouTube.

the thing that I notice about Pakistani America's that once they become successful in life, they become greedy and will do everything in their power to stop the progression of other Pakistan, and once they spend few years in America they stop associating themselves with Pakistan, they pretend they never had any connection to Pakistan and it is some sort of insult to them or their family, I mean why? America has racism embedded in its society just a few decades ago, and yet they never feel ashamed to call themselves Americans. I wish Pakistani's learn and progress in America, get in high positions and Politics so they can for the least do something for their fellow countrymen back in Pakistan.
This was a characteristic of many Pakistanis abroad and they see the other as a threat - heck tell another older Pakistani in the US that unlike him you are already years ahead in career and monetary goals despite being from the same background as him, and that man has the worst inferiority complex trip and evil eye on you since then.

Pakistanis are happy helping other Pakistanis so long as they keep the one they are assisting a subordinate or a lesser financial and social status than them.

But, the more educated ones are breaking free of the Pakistaniyat and do genuinely help out and participate in the system - but they represent 20-30% at best , not too different demographics from their brethren back in Pakistan.

Right now, we have an outsourced software R&D dept in Telangana and those guys are fairly poor coordinators and down the tier chain(not for being Indian.. just bad either way) - I know of ten Pakistani and Indian teams who are ten or hundred fold better and more innovative but since the software lead in the US is himself from the area, he has chosen that team.
Apply that as a macro principle to Indians in the US executive branch support system, in state department, in the US military and intelligence services.

Why should US Pakistanis not be in the CIA? Or FBI or the US Military or state department?
Because the last generation was too busy being isolationist and running gas stations for the most part. The entire MQM crapola that came to the US in the 90s are mostly businessmen or blue collar, and push their kids into the same locked mindset.

Why does one need to overly use it?
Saudi F-15s have Israeli origin gear - worst case scenario they scrub IAI labels off to keep tje Mullah class from throwing a fit and move on .

Moved to US, told my uncle living in Canada for decades that I got my first job in Samsung Home Appliance Quality control, and he tries his best to undermine it for me, keep pushing me to work as a delivery man or Truck drive so I can " make more money " huh, he was having a fit of his life time lol

That is why Indians have made a name for themselves in many businesses and especially IT sector in the US. Koreans on the other hand, somehow have a favorable opinion about Pakistani's ( for me at least ).

I wonder if they'd be even allowed in the CIA or FBI, to begin with?

If Pakistan manages to pay them in full, than US shouldn't have much problem. Pakistan should look into this option as a stop gap until Turkey can come up with their own engine. If not, just forget it, and save the money for Z10MEs and move on.

I came across this on twitter...

It seems the Jordanians are selling 15 Cobras. Could this be an option for PAA? They'd probably be quite cheap and we desperately need them to provide support along the CPEC corridor. If nothing else it'd be useful as spares?

Also @TOPGUN you'll note a Mirage F-1 is also being sold... :p:

Bad idea to buy depleted hardware.

Unfortunately, Pakistanis are (and will always be) their own worst enemy.

Yes, Pakistanis are allowed in the agencies and much appreciated. The United States welcomes all ethnicities.

We are and even if we aren't, we can simply force our way to impersonate them.

(Just on a lighter note)

It's not about Ethnicities, it's more about them trusting Muslims/Pakistani's for Jobs in CIA or FBI, yes many Pakistani's will work for them for money or Green card but still, it's hard to believe that Americans let them in such sensitive posts.

Not a lot of active operators for AH-1F/S. So potential buyer list is very narrow.

The numbers suggest these might be Israeli upgraded ones, but aside from few components these are same as ones we have. These would be attractive as cannibalization units for spare parts and if PA does take such a decision I don't think it would be made public or we would find out since units in inventory will remain same.

If I am not wrong Jordon has depot and last time Pakistan picked few Cobra for parts from that depot. US have one of major ME depot in Jordon.
I think these Cobra already passed there life, because Jordon receive them in 2015 from Israel and they were in Israeli army service for many years .
Jordan Received 16 AH-1F Cobra Gunship helicopters from Israeli Surplus
Israel has offered 16 of the helicopters in the past years as part of its surplus list. The helicopters were retired from operational use in 2013, as the IAF turned their missions to the growing fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles it operates.

The bolded part above ..

Does it mean they intentionally exclude Pakistanis ? Isn't there a law or something to prevent it from happeneing ?
