Yes, he makes good points. But honestly he's just describing the problem and not offering any credible solutions.
You can still get married without registering with the government. If two people genuinely like each other and want to get married then they should have this discussion, agree on prenups, how to settle potential disagreements in marriage, etc.
Then why didn't Prophet Muhammad (SAW) divorce any of his wives if divorce is such a good thing? Afterall what better example of a Momin is there besides him (SAW)?
Also, divorce is something that is done as a last resort in the case of either spouse not fulfilling the rights of the other. You don't divorce someone because he can't buy you a certain car, house or diamond ring (in the case of a girl) or because she doesn't perform a certain sexual act on you that you saw on some pornographic video (in the case of a guy).
Most people divorce over superficial things these days.
Love marriages have a have a higher failure rate than arranged marriages.
Arranged marriage =\= Forced marriage
Also, in the West where majority marriages are Love marriages the divorce rate is more than 50% and more than 75% of the divorce is initiated by the woman.
