Dumb comment. The head of the state is the Monarch who has the title Defender of the Faith and who is also head of the Church of England.

If Rishi Sunak believes in God, there is only one God. In any case, he was elected to be head of government and not of a church, temple, mosque, or synagogue. Hopefully, more people understand this.

Tory party is the most successful party in the history of the world. It has been around for 200 years and faced many challenges in its history.

I am just watching the bond market and the yields are down ( which is good as it means lower interest payments for govt debt and a reason for BOE to keep the rate rise in a lower than expected rise ) and stable as is the pound which has gained strength and is steady. The stock market has stopped yoyoing where I have a substantial interest.

The minimum rate rise expected from BOE is 1%. The monetary committee of BOE meets on 3rd Nov

The Kiing is a Monarch in name with absolutely NO POWERS in the running of a govt. He ABSOLUTLY has to do as the govt "advises".

He could not even attend cop 27 meeting even though he is DEEPLY involved in environmental issues because Truss "advised" him not to. He can do nothing on his own except what the govt "advises".
