* Afghanistan - Capital is under Turkish command for a while now and Turkish troops do the most important job in the Afganistan campaign; it's not the fighting that would result for Afghanistan campaign to be considered as a success, but a strong civilian center that can inspire people who are under Taliban influence day by day.

*Unlike SA, or any other Arab states, Turkey is a democracy. Parliament is the sole authority in decision making. Not some King or Prince. Also, its a known fact Arabs would do anything to topple Saddam, and they did.

*Saudi support for Egypt didn't just stem from fear of Iran. Egypt is a unique country, if regime type changes, in any kind of regime you can think of, it would have a tremendous effect on the region. That's the reason why SA supported Mubarek just before he got deposed.

*Nabucco project is going to happen whether you like it or not. No one visioned it to be completed in a quick timeline.
