you'd be better off joining India and being an overall powerful country.
Fortunately, History has no reverse gear. Keeping that thought aside for a moment, how can one know an unpartitioned India would not be a nation with six times the problems of today's Pakistan? May be partition helped India avoid some of the problems Pakistan is facing today.

If this question is posed in India, the answer will almost always be 'India first', because this question is always loaded and never without a context. Hindus think Muslims will answer 'Islam first' and therefore they need to have an opposite stance. Muslims know this is a test of patriotism so they will also answer 'India first'.
Exactly.

This aspect of history can easily be reversed, it is not difficult at all, although I would be highly against it myself. The Indians would be extremely happy.

However, I am largely in support of an Islamically influenced Pakistan. I do not think most want a liberalised society that normalises serious sins in society. So the ideology and concept of Pakistan is still quite attractive.

The core principles of Islam should be present throughout society and some redlines should never be crossed.

I don't think so. I would be curious if someone puts up a poll here and does a grossly unscientific survey with microscopic nonrandom sample.

Partition helped India in many ways , it got all hindus educated about Islam , united hindus , strengthened the foundation of 5000 years old Indian culture .

A survey has already been done and there is a thread on it

Exactly, without Pakistan you would have never exposed the Islam and reclaimed your ancient Hindu civilisations where you ruled scientific inventions, advancements and technology which the world benefits from today. 5G, fighter jets, spaceships, etc.

I don't know about all that. But not being next to Afghanistan/Taliban rates very high on my value preference. Next to that, not having the so called 'tribal areas' which are basically killing fields.

What is gonna benefit me after I die? Will being Pakistani send me to heaven? Or will being Muslim send me to heaven? Is God going to ask my nationality to send me to heaven or hell? Or is God going to ask my religion to send me to heaven or hell?
The people before 1947 who didn’t have Pakistan, did they put Pakistan first or Islam?

The answer is clear.

Lack of infrastructure , education and land reforms , kept pakistan back in 1947 , even today productive agricultural lands are mostly in hands of big zamindars , nawabs , men of big backgrounds. Poor people who are on the ground who do the tilling produce grain are not owners of land . Tribal areas still are in hands of sardars who want masses to stay uneducated .

Nobody knows exactly what is there in heaven .

Those may just be some of the problems. The way I see it, Pakistan essentially put most of its resources to create a military state. Now they have a pretty good military state but not much else. The problem is the military state can't produce food, fuel or medicines.

For any Muslim it should be clear that Quran itself instructs the following

وَاَقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَارْكَعُوْا مَعَ الرَّاكِعِيْنَ

Now the traditionalists can have the normal general accepted fake translation of "Establish contact prayer, give zakat and bow with people who bow"

However, the Quranic word صلاۃ (Salaat) is actually used to mean: attachment ; conjunction ; connectedness ; connection ; junction ; liaison ; link(age) ; linkup ; union ; unitedness; accompanying; occurring; going; being with; escorting; attaching; the fact of being situated near or next to something; action of associating or being associated; being in somebody's company; friendship; alliance; partnership; get togather, union; combination; bond; correlation; good fellowship; being together with another or others, persons with whom one spends one's time, group of persons or guests, or number of persons united for business or activity; coexistence or accompaniment; agreement in opinion; union , connection; (state of) joining; associating in occurrence or action; uniting with others (by family or working relationships etc.); state of having a mutual relation, bringing into such a relation; companionship, friendliness; communication; social relations; a point at which two or more things are joined together; a place where two or more railway lines or roads meet, unite or cross; the act or instance of joining; communication or cooperation; relationship in which one is caused or affected by the other; relationship between two or more people; link or tie; act or instance of uniting or the state of being united.

In nutshell all the above leads to forming of a "State". Zakat is taxation and the rest is to obey yani bow … simple translation is establish the state, give taxes and obey the state.

For me personally, this is very clear.
