yes! the rejection for Muslim autonomous region and special privileges were the right thing to do because India was going to be secular state, even without Muslim league(main branch) and much of the Muslims our secular stand is being damaged by small and big special privileges for minorities.

govt of India is not discriminating Muslims, in fact only discrimination is positive discrimination/ special privilege for minorities.even then if they don't want to get educated and get a job for themselves it's nobody's problem , we have discuss lengths about Sachar committee report, kindly go though it before bringing it up again.

so I just watched the movie "Jinnah" (1998) and just realized he died only one year after his dream came true.
And I'm wondering:

1. If Jinnah had died 2 years before the Partition instead of 1 year after, would Pakistan still happen ?
2. Was Nehru really banging Lady Mountbatten ?

The partition was too hastily due to threat of violence by jinnah, he has as much blood in his hand as the british. They could have withdrawn in a more systematic manner.

Did violence started by Muslims? No it was started by Hindus and sikhs in Punjab all over hindu dominated areas. Systematic or not, blood shed was bound to be occured whenever partition was about to be announced
