same question I am asking, why patches like Military style and who the heck needs a Camo TDU in an urban conflict - they are SWAT fighting inside city knocking down doors , operating in dark, not engaging in jungle warfare ----

This is an extension of your Rangers, and thus the Army like uniform. I am sure during ops, they'll go all dark, otherwise, it won't make sense. This is the Quick Response Force that your Army's SSG and US instructors have been training. Now they are about to go into action in Punjab.

Actually Rangers is Para Military force and have the task of being deployed anywhere across the country from Deserts of Baluchistan to the Plains of Punjab, mountains of Fata to streets of Karachi hence the Camo. But this force is Police SWAT, there job is to act as specialize force in combating terror related crimes.
and I will be actually happy when I see these guys on Offensive - knocking down doors to Terrorist hideouts with in Punjab rather than acting on Defence and being a Rapid Response Force

and how are you going to maintain such a specialized force in such high figures ---???
better to create a Standard under NACTA (as DHS - US) and that requires all LEAs in the country to have their SWAT teams trained at that standard -- make it a must.....

That's what I was trying to tell you. This is a quick response force. They are trained in COT (Counter Terrorism) and Quick Response to different terrorism related incidents. The initial batch came from the Rangers. So the elite ranges can get into the Quick Response force. This will be applicable to all states within Pakistan as they are developing a regional base model. Rangers will then come on top of these guys as the first layer of semi military defense.

We need to arrange that budget and for what you are saying about they getting criminals first can happen when we improve our IB and FIA and IB should be dedicated only to counter terrorism
