Ppl who say Nawaz Shariff is not Punjabi needs to get their facts correct. Nawaz Shariff is PUNJABI. He is born from Lahore. Same case with Imran Khan born in Punjabi land of Lahore. Both Nawaz and Imran Khan Niazi are Punjabis...but rulers matter less cuz what really matters in governance & management in all fields like media, military, agriculture, finances / economy and judiciary etc etvc, a whole community matters most for Punjabis when u say RULE India and Pakistan.

Ganja caste is lohar so he is Punjabi all right. This caste is considered low or what we punjabis call kami log. But Imran Khan is pashtun Niazi from Punjab.

On the other hand, those who settled in the southern parts of Punjab have gradually assimilated into Saraiki culture, which is another facet of Punjabi ethnic identity, linguistically different only.

Pakistan is ruled by a Pakistani Prime Minister.

The day he calls himself a Punjabi Prime Minister, he will lose his credibility as a leader of Pakistan.

We Pakistanis reject these Nationalistic Tags of Punjabi, Sindhi , Pushtoon and Balochi.

We are just Pakistanis.

If the real point is ruling India and Pakistan thetwo mighty countries, then truly and by far the most effect leadership and management of ruling these countries was being done by Punjabis. What a single community really ruling for past 200 years means and really matters is in the power hold of governance & management in all fields like media, military, agriculture, finances / economy and judiciary etc etc. A single person at top cannot rule, it has to a combination of ppl and here majority rules, and here Punjabis by far easily wins hands down.

Without Punjabis existing in India or Pakistan, these two places have been shithole poor crap.

Probably for the first time the PM of India and most probably PM of Pakistan would both be Punjabi!

I guess one of the reasons why Manmohan was so keen to invite Nawaz Sharif!!

Lets hope this leads to better relations between the countries.
