The current setup is good enough. all we need to do to solve our problems :
1. turn kashmir into an independent nation, that way no fighting over kashmir if it has its own army and all
2. get communism back in afghanistan and also bring it to pakistan. because it's a proven fact that the pakistani state always functions well under strict rules (read military dictatorship) and the force of the 'danda'.
3. perhaps bangladesh should be reclaimed under pakistan, though im not really sure what bangladeshis of this generation feel about pakistan.
4. pakistan should concentrate on strengthening it's civil-military ties with neighbours closer to it (china, iran, turkey etc) rather than backstabbers who live 1000s of miles away.
5. i reiterate my stance that pakistan would definitely function much better under a communist setup rather than a democracy.

why only afghanistan and pakistan... communism should also be for india and bangladesh and nepal... else, the western bloc will use india as platform to launch regime-change in afg and pak...

but anyway, i was proposing solution for south asia to come from within south asia ( specifically the continuous land mass )... there is no point in india, pakistan, afghanistan, nepal, bangladesh and iran staying with the systems they have now... they all should have jamahiriya direct-democracy form of socialism.

Fair enough. I will take that at face value.

First, the Hindi spoken in western UP is almost incomprehensible to the Bihari or to the person from eastern UP (the Bihari and the eastern UP guys can understand each other very well - traditionally, they speak of A-B-C Arrah, Balliah and Chhapra).

The culture is most dissimilar. They don't get along for that reason. There are separate festivals and gatherings of the eastern folk, the Purbiyas, on most festive occasions which are shared occasions among Hindus of all kinds. Right down to the difference between the salwar-kameez wearing western UP-ites and the sari-wearing easterners, through the food, through the marriage customs and specifics.

Their religious habits are vastly different. I am keeping this short, almost telegraphic, for personal reasons; I have to get off the system and take my medicines, which are already two hours overdue. Apologies for the brevity.

Finally, western UP is Jat and Gujjar dominated. Bihar has a cocktail of people who are entirely different and even look different.

I know that this is a series of bald assertions, but that is the best I can do about it for today. If you care to remind me ten days later, I could walk you through some of these differences.
