Just got some information from an ex Indian solider

My name vijay patel I current working in call centre but things very different very many years ago. I had being serving with greatest honour in Sachin snowpeak. In history no one seen brave solider like me and bharat brothers. I telling you story about encounter with Pakis. They one day attacking us and we have no artillery or air planes to bombing so I and brothers took rifles firing at Pakistani. Pakis having numbers of 5,000 fojee but me and 5 only fighting with Pakistani. Fighting very bad doosh and doom and boom everywhere and I falling over with gun firing and firing. I waking up and see commanding officer saab looking at me with samosa in hand telling we win battle. I so happy I jumping up but seeing no the bodies of Pakis. Singh General then telling “it ok we have on tape”. I so happy I knowing Vir Chakra on way to me. I lucky as well getting my picture in tv saying how braving I was. I getting big medals for action bravery so I leaving force with big honour. But tragedy striking and I had been calling back to be investigated by authority me and brothers. I don’t knowing what we do wrong. They telling me it is faking! Bashatrds they not knowing ISI do all this? So they guilty find me and everybody including general saab. So that is my story I sit here remembering glory days and very sad but antia has nice *** who sit in fronting of me so not too bad. I also looking youtube India army video all day and cherring jawans. But video in kargil with **** surrender Pakis soldier looking liking my old friends who serving with me. I think another ISI plotting. Thanking very much now listening I get back to customer calls.

With this guy's spectacular english, I am amazed he is working in a call center!! Do we know any thing more about him, other than your words? Can you substantiate who he is?

Me and you know how Pakistan Army likes to keep things secretive. The denial of involvement in Kargil, sending its pilots to Syria & Egypt, how many indian fighter aircrafts were shot down in 1971, and how it surprised the nation with detonating nuclear weapons to launching cruise missiles are just few classifications.

Donot ever underestimate Pakistan Army.

I do not know where you got this C*ck'n Bull story, because the unit that got tarnished in "ketchup" case in Siachin was 5/5 Gorkha Rifles, I know the unit and it officers and have served along sides them. The company commander court-martialed for the incident was Major Surinder Singh, and he does not work in a call centre.

5/5 GR was in the same brigade as us a decade ago, and they had the highest kill ration of militants. Many militants had their heads chopped off in the traditional Gorkha style of fighting.

Think twice before you post rubbish, it will only lower your credibility on this forum.

OK guys, I called over my Pakistani friend over to my desk ( he is ex-PA from his younger days) and he confirmed the uniforms were authentic. NLI he said was brought into the fold of the "Regular" PA after Kargil. That's why the subtle differences in uniform. Heck - he knows the PA I don't!

It was aimed at others who were claiming "their soldiers never surrender".

And regarding your pt that IA officers stage managed encounters,yes they did.Its a shame and its been dealt with.
