If a person have piles and he cleared ISSB test.
Does he is permenently decleared unfit for army or they give chance for treatment?

They will let you treat it, but dont make it a habit

if you ppl want to apply , just apply , don't worry about anything . Just do it .You will find out yourself that are you good for army or good for any other field. If you r worried about being naked and stuff like that , not only will be naked but all those boys around you. in the morning they will make you take of your shirt and fold your trousers till your knees. and yes there will b a test for piles and testicles and it shud be. dont you think ?

Can someone with a muscular physique (no excessive fat what so ever) join the army?
My weight is 90kgs, 6ft tall, im 17 and I go to the gym regularly. According to the bmi, I'm overweight. But, I have an aesthetic physique and not the bulky types (I'm flexible, fast and definitely NOT like a typical heavy bodybuilder), just have lean muscle on me. The physical test is absolutely no issue for me.
So my question exactly is that whether the army compromise/ignore the bmi result in this case?

Here's what goes around:
Initial Medical

1) Minimum Height - 5 feet 4 inches

2) Wieght - As per BMI (Body Mass Index) Chart. It is available over the net, check it out as per you age, height and build.

3)Eyesight - 6/6 with glasses.

4) Should not be color blind

5) No apparant phisical defect.

6) Yes you would have to go naked. Primarily to check that you have not grown breats or something to the effect. A guy would also inspect your gentials with his hands (though not every time) espacially the testicles.

Final Medical (after clearance of ISSB)

1) All the above mentioned checks would be redone.

2) Chest X-ray

3) Blood picture

4) Urine test

5) A visit to ENT specialist - He will 'look into' your ears for ear drum damage etc.

6) A visit to Surgical and Medical specialist.

7) Yep, you would have to go naked again. This time you will also be required to do things like bending over, showing our behind to the doc and coughing.

I want to know that whan I was 11 or 12 years old I was kidnaped and was sexually abused. Will it cause any problem?

Again, if you'd be joining TTP, this would act as a bonus, but unfortunately, it wont affect your selection in the Army.

Thanks for the reply. Also, will weight be a problem if all you have is muscle mass (enough fat to keep alive) and I can do the physical easily? Due to the weight (90kgs) my bmi indicates 'over weight'. Please reply, last question.

If BMI chart states over weight, then you are over weight. Reduce it before the final medical (after getting recommended by ISSB). Better, do it even before going for the initial medical.
