Shouldn't Bombay have fast internet? You can't even play league of legends with that.

I connect my window phone with my PC through internet sharing so speed is being reduced .

I did some analysis when I traveled to India. I asked many people about what internet speed they have and what is available in market.

In short I found that most Indians do not see much value in spending money on internet speed. They will always try to get something which has unlimited data in contrast to high speed. So while in 2008 I had 2 MBPS line, I found that in 2014 my relatives had 256 KBPS because it was cheap.

The other reason is most of them mostly just use Facebook, check emails and rarely watch youtube videos. They do not have that much need.

This explains why India does badly in average internet speed. People want it cheap even the well to do ones.

In india 2mbps connection is very common for personal use, but actually you get around 150kbps upload/download....so the 2mbps is typical India Gross Salary of White Collar ppl and 150kbps is the actual take home salary! ...

Warid is LTE, which is Advanced than 4g - but i think they haven't lunched it formally yet.

In test mode as of yet, but it is 4G LTE. They are testing services in major cities.

PTCL corporate connection? Please tell me which internet you're using and what you're paying for it in Lahore. I am interested in this for my office.

I was using Link DotNet's corporate connection, was paying 8,000Rs per month for 1 mb dedicated line. But that sucked. They called it dedicated 1MB connection, but that turned out to be shared between 4 users. Foking liars.

Your/up/down speeds look pretty good compared to most of the other Pakistani scores I've seen. Although I'm wondering how you got a "GRADE A+" with a 70ms ping though. None the less, good for you!

Alot of people in my country take their decent/good/great speeds for granted.
