Pakistan is a country living on a lease of life just because of their nuclear weapons. If 26/11 happened 20 years ago, our words would have been converted in actions and Pakistan would have to pay a very big price. Its the nuclear threat that allows Pakistan to continue to do what they have done for the past 60 years and go unchecked. I recommend Pakistanis to stop chest thumping and think about what Condellezza said, dont push India or we will repeat what we have already done in the past. Pranab's comments were genuine so its will be recommended that you take them seriously. You are a country on the brink of collapse because of the terror you gave birth too, dont push other nations to add the final nail to the coffin. Live in Peace with us, that is what is best for you.

Pranab is one of the most competent ministers in the Government. He works long hours, is a master tactician and a negotiator and is the unofficial troubleshooter of the Government. It helps because Manmohan is a weak Prime Minister. Also the guy rose from a very poor background.. used to swim everyday to the school. Unfortunatwly his failed attempt to become PM in id 80s led to his downfall. He could never become PM and won;t ever become one

don't go by looks & height my friend. this silly looking 5ft tall politician played all his politics for more than 4 decades staying in his country & with his people. he is not the one to runs away from people when he is not in power & comes back when he gets into one.

we presented our views on these issues in order to garner support; we didnt beg the way the indians did --and that especially applies to Kashmir and Afghan cause. . .

on nuclear deal, it was obvious even under previous regime that the deal would likely go through......it was US which ran to us asking for explanation when we signed a somewhat similar deal with the Chinese

Theres no logic here, just hard cold facts from dear old Condi.

Begging is done from a position of weakness, strength is when you are able to dictate.
Again when Pakistan attacked India in Kargil, the only call the PM made was to the army to kill the rats, not to amreeeka or russia to help, rest of the world just followed Indias narrative.
Ultimately the poor Sharif had to go a begging to daddy to stop the massacre.
