Sad thing is you rely on documents which are provided government. Obviously they want to hide facts not only from rest of the world but also their own people. That's trageedy of people lives in communist regimes.

Identify each and every one of them! Analyze why they are coming to streets... Keep them occupied... Provide them jobs in Railways or Tourism or keep them occupied with any means by providing loans.

If the particular person is not falling in line, Bring them problems without directly attacking them and keep them busy with their problem.... If still some one is still not falling in line... Teach them the lesson they can understand.... There is a proverb in my mother tongue... Adi othvura maathuri Annan, Thambi othava maatan!

Religious possessions are stopped not only in kashmir...
Even in my state of tamil nadu(in my area) police stopped a hindu religious sabha meeting citing non clearance during these periods...
they didnt explain briefly but we have to accept right coz they are our protector and police!!!

Mr.Raz police forces in kashmirs are locals ie they are muslims and saffron colour has nothing to do wid this...
