So you would not rescue the lives of your innocent citizens? And what act of terrorism did the pirates commit?

The Indian govt has no open communication lines with the Somali pirates. In fact the last time Somali pirates hijacked a vessel they held back Indian sailors despite the ransom being paid due to continuous Indian Naval action against the pirates. An Indian interest in this case too would've made things worse for the hostages. Glad the Pakistani NGO helped resolve this.

They are negotiating with the Afghan Taliban not AL Qaeda. Unlike Pakistani Taliban which is a terrorist even for your own country,Afghan Taliban is seen as a representative of a section of Afghanistan. This fact has been acknowledged by Pakistan first followed by US and even India recently.

What most dont realize here.. is that these are huge steel hunks moving in liquid..
They dont turn on the dime.. they dont stop on the dime.. and sure the hell dont pick up speed that rapidly either.

what are you trying to prove??.. Mistakes do happen when giving list.. and India is a very big country to keep track of people.. When doing humanitarian operation.. it is not good to take revenge.. Further Godavari is a big ship.. if need action would have been taken.. but we have been good to allow damage... Secondly Wife of the India sailor doesnt know what is the proces... Indian government cant go on spend money there are more than 50% of Indian in the maritime field.. it is the ship owner who has to give.. Indian government will do what is needed.. Yes accepted it is very bad when we or some one of our family gets caught..

You're right it is a horribly tough scenario with horrible choices and, no, I don't know what the GoI would do but NEITHER DO YOU and I'm sure, again, GoI would the situation on its own merits and take their own decisions- like I said EVERY SITUATION IS DIFFERENT. that is something you need to understand.

150 innocent citizens die in pakistan every week i guess in terror incidents and drone attacks so what pakistan has done for those innocent people ????
