Navy Day: When Karachi burned for seven days, historical victory of Indian navy over Pakistan

one blast caused fuel tanks to explode others were a chain reaction...and yes in war when port is attacked then normal operations are suspended its not a new strategy invented by Indians....how was Karachi burning?

Karachi was your only port, half your fuel reserves were wiped out in Indian navy raids.

After the first attack on Dec 4, Karachi harbor burned for 4 days, the fires has just been brought under control, when the second attack happened and Kemari oil storage facility was burning for another 3 days.

Not the entire Karchi city, but part of the city, which was essential for your war effort, had been decimated.

20 years from now you will say, entire city of Lahore was vacated when India did a surgical strike, showing a picture of two Rickshaws leaving the city

These are show pieces buddy (on either side of the border). The actual war and war front changed long back. You won'tgget an excuse or even a chance to use any of them. LOL :lol::lol:
Must you waste bandwidth just because it's free.
If they are show pieces on either side of the border *** you put it then DRDO must have a secret branch on Mars.
When the time comes, you will be seeking advise from your Dalit teacher.

The time that you are talking about will never come. LOL :bunny::bunny::bunny:

Even if it may, the disparity between both our nations will be too big by then that, it can be simply ignored. You can't keep on playing the role of spoiler. :azn:

I was 9 years old in 71 war, I dont remember Karachi burning?
we used to go all over Karachi with my father during the war, only time people will go to hiding places (ditches dug in almost every street) when air attack siren would go off and people will watch the fireworks of Pakistani guns around all major installations.

Actually nothing happened to Karachi port in 1971. Its all fake war propaganda. :-)

something did happen like it happens in the war, like it happened to Indian dream of capturing Lahore in 65, but Karachi was not burning

No one can verify your initial claim, hence it was utterly anecdotal.

What is definitely true is that Karachi was blockaded post Trident.
How do you suppose a blockade would occur?
We just said "hands up" and PN gave up without a fight? How naive do you think people are?

Karachi was indeed in flames.

haha ISIS blows up more than that in one day, I dont know what are you trying to prove, I admit Indian blew up POL gas storage at Karachi..this was a big achievement. India did not want a full blown invasion because they saw how 35000 Pakistanis were fighting them in Bangal, they have seen how invasion wet dream were crashed in 65

The only think India has to show is that in 1971 they defeated half Pakistan with the help of other half of Pakistan, Indian never want to talk about 65 and 48, but they do like to talk about how IAF ruled the skies in Kargil, these idiots dont even know Kargil was in India and Pakistanis infitrated India and humilited them for a year. Yet, if the shame has a face it would be called Indian, they want to make movies to hide their humiliation which is still on going.

When is bollywood planning to make a movie about this part

Oh, please don't talk about Indian dream of capturing Lahore in 65 yet again. Why don't to say why you ended up defending Lahore than liberating Kashmir back in 65 ?? Numerous experts from your country even today acknowledge that 1965 was your blunder.

Regarding Karachi, no nothing happened to Karachi port in 1971. It was just a propaganda. Indian navy still don't possess the assets adequate enough to assault Karachi. :-)

They did back then, now they will stay as far as 700 km

Umm have you ever seen a map of India and Pakistan?

Dwarka is not even 100 km form Pakistani coast line.

pakistanindiasrilanka-map.jpg

Dwarka raid was a complete failure, not because of short distance that Pakistani navy had to sail but because firstly it failed to do any damage, secondly it did not achieve any of it objectives.

On the other hand, Indian navy raids on Karachi, did huge amount of damage. Not just in terms of lives and ships lost but also in monetary terms, half of Pakistani oil reserves were wiped out in a single raid.

Then what are you doing on this thread?
Dwarka operations didn't achieved any objective??? sonny if u check after dwarka operation India air force stopped bombing Karachi our biggest city
Now don't say it was from goodness ofyour hearts obviously dwarka op caused heavy damage to your installation in dwarka which guided your jets for Karachi raids deary :)

This selective saffron wash of history won't do u good my child we suffered loss in 71 we acknowledge that and learned from our mistakes so u .won't get chance to exploit that again but it appears u didn't learn from history just Tailored it your liking :)
