PLA rehearsing India attack

LOL.......... China fought 1962 using a proxy? Tibetan yaks?

Classic case of 2 brain confusion syndrome it seems. If you read my post again, you will find that I mentioned that China will not be able to fight via proxy in the next war becasue it will be overt. It will certainly not be the shoot and scoot affair or 1962 and neither will it be the proxy support via Cambodia or to the North Koreans and nor will it be the bleed effect via the Pakistani general friends (you got to pay them to fight and the payments are increasingly overdue. :) ). It will be a clear overt war which the party will have to decide to fight by itself. Otherwise the region is out of proxies. Even the pet North Korea will not fight for China now.

So, whether the next skirmish is with Vietnam or with Philippinnes or witih South Korea or with Japan or even Brunei, it will have to be fought by the party decision directly. And so will be any skirmish with India. Also the party knows very well that next skirmish will turn in to a war for certain and the old needling policy has stopped yielding returns. Hell even Taiwan could declare freedom in the next war scenario or Xinxiang (the true Uighurs sons of Ghenghis Khan :) ) could also declare independence. Even the Tibetans could decide to have their own country in the next war. So just take it easy.

Go ask any Chinese member if I'm a Pakistani. :)

India deployed 100,000 troops to the border. It's clearly preparing for a war as revenge for its humiliation in 1962.

India has deploye the troops on the border just as a peaceful reminder to the communist party that this time the shoot and scoot will certainly not work. Normally deploying a policemen will keep the pick pocket away. That is the idea behind sending the message to your communist party :).

LOL........ unlike ancient hindu kingdoms, China was never totally destroyed and enslaved. That's why today's hindus all have paternal lineage from central asian conquerors. It is actually the Mongols who have Han Chinese blood because Inner Mongolia is a part of China.

Now don't go loving Genghis Khan that much :) This is once again the 2 brain confusion situation. May be your are confusing the Song or the Xi Xian with Ghenzis Khan / Kublai Khan. Do you not really know that the true Uyghur langauge is not a Han language but actually the language that Genghis Khan gifted with the genes. Let us for the moment just leave the rest of gifts of Genghis Khan to Hans for the imagination :)

Yeah, even india was "showing China the finger" until PLA mobilized along the border. And now you are wetting yourself.
Chinese navy and coast guard are already patrolling the South China Sea, and cutting cables from Vietnam and Philippines ships!

Why are you putting "the finger" and "wetting" together in the same statement. Do not come back later blaming that it was the work of my finger. I did not such thing and I am normally scared of such feminine allegations (not that I do not like it though). I am sure that you get the point. No use getting "wet" there senora. :)

And regarding the cable cutting, is that what the communist party has been throwing threats around for. Just to cut the cables. Damn that is one hell of a noise for that wimp of a reaction. Have fun. :)

another Sino India war will break India into dozens of small countries just like the "country"was before the British colonization.

Beijingwalker ask that to your chinese navy. They know better what technology indian navy uses.... That's the reason your cowardly communist nation never took on our Airforce and Navy. They knew what our navy and airforce capable of. Even 1962 china never stretch the war fearing indian airforce and navy woul'd join in. You targeted indian army who even being low armed still gave a tough fight. Even 1 indian soldier against 9 chinese soldiers our army gave toughest fight and killed many chinese soldiers. Now its not 1962. India rules china's future. Your 90percent of supply passes by india. India holds china's future.... Your military knows it. They don't give sh1T what chinese arm chair warriors has to say.... Anyway who listens to chinese people in their own country? Your god is communist leader who decides your fate. You people ain't got no right to say a word. If u dare then always try to remember china has alot tanks. Not capable of war but surely it has capablity to crush its own people....

Should I believe you and believe your navy chief?hah,"the gap is too big to bridge and getting wider every passing day"hah

Tuff cold weather conditions and such a drill deserve appreciation China needs to do such large scale wargames regularly. Good to know PLA can operate armoured vehicles and combat vehicles in these areas. The thing which is missing is role of Attack choppers Z-10 must be there. :sniper:

Its a perfect example of Chinese cold start which Indian army is simulating from many years but failed.

if China unleash its might on India,India will be totally crushed in days.

Did you figure that out all by yourself or did you have to take help from the Communist Party to get there? :)

Indian air force a third of China's: air force chief

NEW DELHI: India's air force is just a third the size of rival China's and far short of the aircraft required to meet the security challenges it faces, the country's air force chief said Wednesday.

'Our present aircraft strength is inadequate. Aircraft strength is one third that of China,' said Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik was quoted as saying by the CNN-IBN website Wednesday.

'The government of India is doing a lot to augment air force capability,' he said in a speech in Gandhinagar, capital of India's western Gujarat state.

The comments come against the backdrop of media reports about Chinese army and air 'incursions' into India in the past several weeks that have been denied by both New Delhi and Beijing.

The Asian giants and economic rivals have yet to agree on their more than 4,000 kilometre border, the dispute over which dates back to a brief but bitter conflict in 1962 that exposed India's military vulnerability.

India says China occupies 38,000 square kilometres of its territory, while Beijing claims 90,000 square kilometres or the whole of the northeastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Naik said there were two ways to counter China's reported incursions.

'One way is to take up weapons and go to the border. The other way is to build systematic weapons capability to tackle the threat,' he said.

Naik's remarks follow similar ones by former navy chief Sureesh Mehta, who last month said India could not compete with China on defence spending and warned Beijing was 'creating formidable military capabilities'.

India has begun trials of the world's leading fighter jets as it prepares to place an order for 126 planes in a contract worth 12 billion dollars.

with both India navy and air force admit that India is far far away from matching China's,seems like the only hope for India is its ground troops, that that's also where China's strength lies.

1979? ummmmmmmm Vietnam.........I am trying to remember something...................................................Yes bravo I got it. China's humiliating defeat.....

India fears China military 'gap'06 September 2011

Indian officials and military officers have expressed concern at a widening gap between the country's present and planned military capabilities and those of China, it has been reported.

The defence gap between the world's two most populous countries has created a possible "collusive threat" from China and its ally Pakistan, according to a report in the Financial Times.

The fears were highlighted by the chairman of India's National Security Advisory Board, who described the country's ministry of defence as "dysfunctional" when it came to long-term planning.

"India's strategic interests extend between the Suez and Shanghai … but we have neither the manpower nor the strategic thinking to handle these challenges," K. Shankar Bajpai said.

Retired Lieutenant General PC Katoch echoed those comments, saying: "We have celebrated our 64th independence day, and we still don't have a national security strategy.

"The ministry of defence does not have a set-up for strategic thinking".

There is also a considerable spending gap between the two countries, with research by the Stockholm Institute for Peace Research showing that India's $36bn defence budget is less than a third the size of China's estimated $114bn defence spend.

In August, a US government report expressed concern at the growth of China's military, which is developing indigenous aircraft carrier and stealth jet fighter programmes.

The People's Liberation Army is expected to have a modern, fully capable military by 2020, the US has estimated.
